Antioxidant supplement ivf
Hi all, just wondering if anyone took an antioxidant supplement during ivf. I’m taking a prenatal vitamin (which has the recommended folic acid and vitamin d advised by my clinic) but this has also been suggested by a friend. From what I can tell antioxidant supplements have the same level of selenium

Beta-Sitosterol
I came across this regarding beta-sitosterol, but nothing further regarding PCa potential benefits. Curious why there's not more on this, if anyone knows. http://cancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/67/9_Supplement/1650 Jeff

Just random thoughts for today I think
ms has joined our life, did anybody notice the young man just diagnosed (DX'd) at 15 years of age. I mentioned this last night to "she who must be obeyed" and she said looking back she had noticed things a long time before her Dx. Thinking about it I had noticed the same types of things, and just

My Osteoporosis Journey
I've just realized it may not be so easy for people on the Bone Health forum to find this account which I posted on the PMRGCAuk forum a few months ago. So here it is. This is just copy and paste of an account I wrote to keep track of things for myself. Please note I have no medical training and I

Holiday relief
First post on here but have been enjoying the discussions for a while. Based in the UK but had a holiday in Spain recently. Normally take 6 half-Sinemet CR a day and generally pretty well controlled. On holiday I was walking an average of 15000 steps every day including doing 1/2hr of running every

I Would Appreciate Some Advice Please?
I already use Foligain shampoo/conditioner and am finding new little hairs growing back, only fine ones but they are there. Today I was reading the reviews for these supplements and they were all practically 5*. Looking at the ingredients they do contain iodine which I know we hypo’s aren’t supposed

it has come to my attention
msers, to just be polite I have been strongly told that I should inform people a little about me. Basically, things that I am 'not" and how I come by my opinions and beliefs. 20 years having travelled this, my ms journey has given me the belief system that I have. Immune suppression mix
Hi I seem to be on a lot of immune suppression. I have SLE & renal transplant. Is anyone else on Prograf (Tacrolimus) Mycophenalate Mofetil & Zentiva (Hydrochloroquine) recently added to the mix by my dermatologist? Just seems an awful lot. I have loads of other types of meds too. I hate to think of

Potential Prograf Shortage?
There is an article in the Business & Money section of today's Sunday telegraph about pharmacies having trouble in supplying some key medicines. The article comments specifically on Epipen, but also "specific treatments for a host of serious conditions". This concerns me as having had a liver transplant

10 months post transplant recipient...side effects
Hi all, I'm 10 months post kidney transplant. Most of the past 10 months have been pretty good. No issues with my kidney which is great! However, my side effects lately have been getting more and more intense around peak time. I get a burning pain in my chest and lower rib cage, I do have some tremors
