Op update and constipation tips and advice
May have to have Blood transfusion because
haemoglobin
levels low. Seriously worried about constipation going forward - not just in the hospital (have not passed a motion yet) . Tips/advice most welcome. Histology results maybe back by Friday this week or early next week.

Is pernicious anaemia likely?
My mean cell
haemoglobin
level has consistently been above the reference limit. In June it was 33.1 pg (27.0 - 32.0). My white bloods have always been borderline low. Doctors don't want to believe that I could have an issue with B12. Autoimmune diseases run in my family.

Three Months And 5,000 Steps
This has now cleared although my
haemoglobin
level was slightly below normal at the last blood test. By this time the heatwave had struck. I read about 10,000 steps but by the end of the heatwave I could only manage 1,000 and would be soaked in perspiration!

Survey reveals patient perceptions of ITP
Generally falls in our platelets and
haemoglobin
/red blood cell counts are due to increasing crowding of our bone marrow by CLL cells, along with increased filtering of platelets and red blood cells by enlarging spleens.

B12 injections not working
The GP said my
haemoglobin
hadn't been taken in the original count and so took bloods for that. I had a holiday booked, and despite not being able to keep my eyes open, he said I should go and rest there. The haemeglobin results came back normal and he said my b12 was now also fine.

Hypothyroid. Increase Iron? New blood test results.
Haemoglobin
: 149 g/L ( 130 - 175 ) Mid point is 152.5, which I'm very close to. So according to this I don't have terribly low Iron. So unfortunately it doesn't support the iron panel results, but may not need to?

and have just successfully had another two more weekly doses.

Results from blood tests ... eex help understanding
Need to repeat test - I was not made aware of this
Haemoglobin
. In 18.2.18. It read 38mmol/mol. Suggests low risk of diabetes melitus suggest retesting every 3 years. I was not made aware of this prior. The test done last week says .... regret Sample discarded in error.
