how many embryo are enough ?
hi all, have been overthinking this for many months so I’d like to post here. Due to personal circumstances I decided this year to do 2 EC (I have low AMH although AFC seemed ok). We have never tried for a child but we could not plan for a family this year and that gave me a lot of anxiety hence why

TSH and blocking TRAb
Further to a recent post by HealthStarDust on TRAb results and a discussion with tattybogle and pennyannie as to whether having blocking ABs dominating would give high or low TSH, I posted a question on Elaine Moore forum. The following is her reply :- About 20% of patients who move into remission using

hyperthyroid again at 7 and 9 weeks after RAI treatment
anyone still manage a success story with RAI even though hyperthyroid at 9 weeks after treatment. My son has just had RAI and is now worse than ever. At 7 weeks post treatment his TSH was <0.01 T4 28.5 and T3 12.5 they said it hadn’t worked but would hold off going back on carbimazole and test again

Time to try IVF?
Hello everyone I am 35 years old (turning 36 next month). My husband and I have been trying naturally for 8 months. We tried IUI in July and this month but it didn't work. My AMH is low (3 pmol/L) and latest FSH is 8 (though it was 23 three months ago in June, apparently it is normal for FSH to fluctuate

Hi, Can anyone help with explaining these results? Been feeling more and more run down, hair loss, weight gain I just can’t shift despite eating well and not a lot, added to which we’ve been unsuccessful in conceiving. Been to the GP several times and fobbed out with various excuses/explanations so

Got period before egg collection!
Hi ladies,I was on menopur 600iU dose & synarel nasal spray. My AMH is low already. The ultrasound only showed like 1-2 follicles & they were growing very slow as well. Still the clinic wanted to go with egg collection. I was due for last scan tomorrow to make sure those 2 follicles reached appropriate

Hashimoto's Confirmed... now what?
Hi All, I have been suffering from ill health for a very long time, ~10 years. I had an ultrasound scan on my neck to monitor an enlarged lymph node, the scan also showed I had damaged to the right lobe of my thyroid. I went to the GP, who then ran my bloods: TPO Ab: 220 ku/L TSH: 2.81

Blood test results - assuming Hypo?
Hello this is my first time posting on here. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos due to high antibodies probably 10ish years ago. I've had hypo symptoms in all that time but have never been medicated as my GP insists everything has been normal. I've been having recurring vertigo recently and at an ENT

Update….one year of enlightenment
Hi lovely people. I last posted in February, when I was hoping to increase to 75mcg. Long story short, GP agreed to the increase in March. I had been testing with MMH and watched my TSH creep up and my FT3 & FT4 decrease. Without private testing, I’d still be wading through treacle on 50mcg! So after

Am I right ?
Anyone know ? am I right in thinking the GP practice should be able to print off my thyroid blood results from a few years up to date ? It would be really useful to have that information to argue my case that I have always needed to be below lowest level of tsh. Thanks in advance for any info.

One year follow-up RFA
Hello everyone, sorry to not have been more active here. So recently I had my last follow-up after RFA procedure on my right thyriod lob. The part they treated, a conglommeration of different nodules which was nearly 5 centimetres in diameter, has definitely shrunk, but of course has not disappeared
