low TSH Graves’ disease
I was wondering why my endocrinologist has lowered my carbimazole from 40mg to 20mg a day after my latest blood test results. I have grave’s disease and been on block and replace for 15 months, I just wondered what difference it would make to be on a lower dose, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hashis and Graves? Watch and Wait has now caught up.
About 15 months or so, I had an appointment for a thyroid specialist as my thyroid tests pointed towards Graves. I had been hypothyroid for about 17years when my different results meant my gp prescribing less and less levo. When the amount became 12.5mcg, (after an original 150 mcg) I asked to be

weight gain with low TSH?
Just some background, I got my thyroid removed 2 years ago due to
graves
disease
. I've been on levothyroxine 125mcg and 5mcg cytomel. When I started feeling sluggish and gaining weight, I increased my T3 (cytomel) to 12.5mcg/day hoping it would make me feel better.

Problems with Teva?
I have
graves
disease
which was treated with radioactive iodine in 2013. Since then I have been taking Accord Levothyroxine with no problems. Two months ago the pharmacy gave me Teva I didn't think anything of it. Since then I have gradually become very ill.

Private test results
Would have liked to prescribe t3 but due to my history of
graves
disease
decided levo was worth a trial. Any experience with levo or T3 from former graves patients would be helpful to know. Latest bloods from private Gp tests are attached . Any advice would be greatly welcome . Thankyou.

Weaning off proprananol
Hello everyone,I have
Graves
disease
and had a thyroidectomy in June 2022.I am having conversion problems ,even with a very over-range T4.I know proprananol can reduce T4 to T3 conversion and am looking to try and wean off it. My GP put me on 20mg 3x a day as a migraine preventative.

Can thyroid function recover after RAI
I received RAI in 2010 for alleged nodules but then consultant thought I may have had
Graves
disease
instead. Over the last 13 years, I have had my levothyroxine reduced from 150 to 100 and I fear it will be reduced again. I am 55 years old. My question is why does the doseage need reducing?

Graves Disease, Hyperthyroidism and Supplements
Supplements taken: vitamin D apple cider tablets turmeric calcium magnesium When I was diagnosed with
Graves
Disease
and Hyperthyroidism I stop taking all supplements. The TSH reduced 50%. Is possible that the supplements were the cause of the disease? Thank you, Vanbr

Anaemia
I have
graves
disease
but GP only tests TSH levels and T3. When I saw GP due to rapid heartbeat, breathlessness and muscle weakness he did full blood test and said I was anaemic. I take 5mg of carbimazole- could this medication cause anaemia? Is this common in graves?
