That’s confusing.

Can you show results like this?

Date (including time or am / pm, if you have)

Dose regimen prior to test ( eg 10mg carbimazole dose prescribed 6 weeks prior to test)

Item, result, lab range

Eg

TSH <0.01 (0.35 - 3.50) (Lab ranges vary, so necessary with each result)

“TS4 7.4 (RANGE 2.0-22.0)

TS3 3.6 (RANGE 3.1 - 6.8)”

Assume this is FT4 & FT3 & common FT4 range is (12 - 22)

If range is same

FT4: 7.4 pmol/l (Range 12 - 22) -46.00%

FT3: 4 pmol/l (Range 3.1 - 6.8) 24.32%

FT4 is below range & FT3 quite low in range. Most feel well with mod range levels. How do you feel? Do you have any symptoms?

I’d be looking to reduce to 5mg every other day to allow frees to rise if feeling hypo symptoms.

Discuss with doctor & retest in 6 weeks time.

If range is different this won’t apply.

Please layout like this including ranges as different labs have different ranges

Date - Aug 14tb

Dose Carbimazole

TSH 1.17 (2-4.8)

Ft4 9.5 (12-22)

Ft3 4 ( 3.1-6.8)

Essential to also test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

When were these last tested

What vitamin supplements are you taking

I would agree with PurpleNails

Discuss reducing Carbimazole further

And looking at very high TPO antibodies you may have Hashimoto’s as well as Graves’ disease

You need to retest vitamin D and test B12, folate and ferritin
