Please click on profile for past posts I'm being investigated for Graves disease, I'm type 2 diabetic ( in remission) only med I take is 10mg daily Carbimazole since January 2024. I wanted to keep a check my Thyroid levels but mainly vitamin levels.

I recently have been told I have an overactive thyroid and Graves’ disease. What vitamins interact with either of them? Thank you

I was just wondering if anyone could give any advice on these results and assure me that all is definitely okay for the moment, I’m well aware i will always have Graves’ disease but taking it one day at a time.

Please help im 33 i dont smoke dont drink. i am diabetic and have graves disease and have N.A.F.L.D just been for fibroscan and result 19.4 and 350 not sure what these mean but ano its bad I'm i going to die ? I have 2 small kids i so scared scared.

Hello, I’d appreciate a PM if anyone can recommend an Endo who specialises or is experienced in treating Graves’ disease in London or ideally SW London.

(Range:0 - 3.3 iu/l) Is this a Graves disease test? Otherwise High TSH, positive TPO, low nutrients. And inflammation markers up. Just wondered if this TRAb is significant to the other results in any way? Thanks!

my son has recently had rai for Graves’ disease and following his first blood test since the treatment he is very overactive again … they are saying they can’t put him on carbimazole for another month and that the treatment hasn’t worked?

I’m enquiring on behalf of my friends father who is newly diagnosed with Graves’ disease. He has had test for dementia and memory loss issues all of which came back negative. He’s now been told it’s due to his thyroid issues, which his Endo said isn’t true. Is this a thing?

He had the protruding eyes of Graves Disease He had a reasonable response to antithyroid drugs but not so much to Digoxin and Frusemide . He just went slowly downhill over 2 weeks and died. His family had difficulty visiting him.

I eventually went to the doctors and discovered I have Graves’ disease and a hot nodule.

That's why we say TSH is misleading in Graves' disease. You want to be closer to the high end of the range for FT4 and midway between the middle and high ends of the range for FT3.

My Graves’ disease has been in remission for 15 year until I spent most of last year over active then I was rushed to hospital in October with a heart rate 225. Put on propranolol and Carbimazole.

hello, I was diagnosed at the end of June with Hyperthyroidism, and subsequently tests confirmed Graves’ disease. I am due to see the consultant end of this month, so will have more bloods done just before.

hi, can I check if it’s ok to drink coffee or at least decaf (I know it still contains some caffeine) in Graves’ disease? I LOVE my coffee and I only have 1 in the morning. I have been on carbimazole for over ver 2 weeks. Would like to know what you do.
