Just have to vent
Hi guys, I'm going through my 1st ivf cycle. We're nhs so it's taken almost 2 years to get here (plus had one miscarriage and one chemical earlier in the year). I'm 38 and my DH's 45, with male factor so we're having icsi. We were meant to start during my Sept cycle but got a kidney infection so started

Another day another blow
I’ve just had my third cycle cancelled this year due to poor response. First cycle was short protocol and resulted in IUI due to one follicle storming ahead (it didn’t work), second was long protocol and that didn’t work as I didn’t respond enough and third cycle was short again and this time didn’t

Down reg scan
Hi this is my first ever cycle and I am on the long protocol…been on buserelin for 2 weeks and had my scan and just been told my lining is to thick to start menopur…I feel as if I have already started to fail…and it’s only the beginning 😥😩 Did anyone experience this?? They increased my dosage of buserelin

Buserelin-raised red spots
Hi all, I've been injecting Buserelin for 18 days. After most of the injections I've had a bit of redness and itching but nothing major. After injecting last night, all of my puncture holes came up as raised red spots (see photo) and are still like it this evening. I went for my baseline scan today

Buserelin and down regulating.
Hey, I’m 12 days into my buserelin injections for down regulating before FET. I was supposed to have a scan on Friday to check lining is thin and ovaries quiet before building it up again but it’s been cancelled as I haven’t had a bleed yet. Has this happened to anyone else? When should I have expected

Is it worth TTC this month if starting Buserelin?
Hi everyone, I’m totally new to this medication and long protocol as we’ve only been on short before. Had a nightmare few months with cycles with being cancelled due to thick lining / cycle abandoned due to under response. We were due to start IVF again this month but I had 3 big cysts at baseline scan

In need of advice 🙏🏻
Hi ladies, On my second round of ivf just been for baseline scan today and my lining was fine (which was what I was worried about as took over 4 weeks to thin my lining last time) however I had 2 large follicles on both ovaries. They said buserelin stimulates ovaries before it shuts them off and mine

FRER Line progression (Trigger Warning)
I spent so long searching for line progression that I think posting mine might help! So below is the line progression I had on First Response Early Results (FRER) from 3dp5dt to 11dp5dt. It was a frozen embryo transfer FYI, this is my second pregnancy, for my first born I had the same line progression

Looking for some hope and support
Hey everyone, I’m in my second cycle doing long protocol after first cycle was short and didn’t work. I have stage 4 endo that mostly affected my ovaries and have had 5 ops in the last few years to deal with it . I only have one tube remaining and low AMH. I started long protocol a few weeks ago starting

Problems with clinic - advice needed
Hi guys, Hope someone can offer advice. Sorry this is a long rant. Last year I (39 at the time) went for a fertility MOT and discovered I have an AMH of 5 and AFC of 10. After a consult I decided to try egg freezing as I don’t have a partner and wasn’t ready to go it alone just yet. I first encountered

Prostap vs Buserelin
Hi all, at my recent follow up appointment my clinic mentioned I could down-regulate with Prostap rather than Buserelin for my next FET, if I wanted to. I have done 2 FETs now with a buserelin down-reg each time from day 21. Other than it being 1 injection vs a tonne, is there anything I should be

Down reg question
Starting round 2 on Sunday long protocol with buserelin and menopur last time was short. Just wondered did you inject buserelin in the morning or evening my clinic said it’s up to me but just wondered what anyone else did. I don’t have a lot of hope which is making me sad tbh but here we go again xx

Buserelin nasal spray timing
Hi ladies 👋 I'm on the nasal spray 4 times a day, I know it's to be taken at specific times but it's going to be hard for me to do the 7am one due to work, does anyone know if it'll matter if I take it half an hour early? thanks for any advice 🧡

Third Round
Hi Everyone, Currently on ubiniquol, dhea, folic, vit D and melatonin. I’ve had two two cycles with a failed fresh transfer after each cycle. This time round, I have just started the buserelin on day 21 and thrown in a endometrial scratch. I couldn’t get over the fact that even though I had low grade

Finding injections really painful and hard to pierce skin
Hi, I am on day 23 (tonight) of Buserelin and day 5 (tonight) of Menopur and Gonal F. I’m not going to lie I’ve found these stims injections HARD! Whether it’s the effect of moving from 1 to 3 injections a night or they are just taking their toll on me I don’t know, but I feel like I am over injections
