Looking for some hope and support

Hey everyone, I’m in my second cycle doing long protocol after first cycle was short and didn’t work. I have stage 4 endo that mostly affected my ovaries and have had 5 ops in the last few years to deal with it . I only have one tube remaining and low AMH. I started long protocol a few weeks ago starting buserelin to switch the ovaries off and get my oestrogen levels down, started the stims last week on Thursday but my scan showed only 1/2 follicles though my bloods were ok, hence why they said I could start.

I went for second scan yesterday and there was no difference, I’m not responding so they told me to lower my meds and come back in a week as sometimes it can be slow at the start especially when on buserelin and when you have the challenges I do. I just feel like I’m losing hope and how can it change in a week when it’s so bad now.

Has anyone else had this happen? I’m just looking for some glimmer of hope and support as I just feel so defeated x

Hi lovely, I’ve not experienced this but I just wanted to send you some love and support. This whole ivf thing is so hard but you’ve got this. Just take it one day at a time as things can change overnight xxx

Hi Claredav. Perhaps the Buserelin is still having an effect on your ovaries. using stims for another week, just might give your ovaries a chance to work the way they are needed to. Fingers crossed it does the trick. Thinking of you. Diane
