Buserelin Shortage - Any recommendations?
Hi all, We are due to start our final round of IVF with the NSH in the new year. Have been recommended Buserelin but there is a national shortage. Drs seem keen for us to use this as responses weren’t great in previous cycles. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to source Buserelin? I have

Anyone had both Buserelin and Gonasi together?
Hi, I'm taking my trigger tonight and was meant to take just Gonasi but today they asked me to take both Gonasi and 2ml Buserelin at the same time instead. Has anyone here had both together? How was it? Also, if no one minds me asking, why did you have to have both? I'm not sure why mine changed

Any teachers going through IVF?
Hi everyone, I've just started on the first day of my stimulation injections; taking gonal-F (which hurt a lot more than my buserelin!). Are there any fellow teachers who did a cycle whilst at work? I've had a few appointments already that I've had to take time out for but feeling a bit worried about

Buserelin and exhaustion!
Hi everyone, just started on my first cycle of IVF with ICSI. On day 9 of buserelin injections (although I took the wrong dose for the first 3 days - not enough) and experiencing incredible exhaustion. Have had early nights all week and went to bed last night at 7:30 so had nearly 12 hours sleep! I know

Prepping for a frozen cycle
Hello all Could I please ask whether anyone has used the Optibac probiotics for a fresh cycle or a frozen cycle? I hadn’t heard of them until recently. If so which ones did you choose or which did your clinic suggest to use? I’m guessing intimate flora for women which suggest they reach the womb. The

Menopur & fostimon
Hello ☺️ I’m on day 13 of Buserelin injections and have my baseline scan tomorrow. Hopefully it’s ok and I can start stimming. I will discuss again tomorrow with the clinic but initially they were saying I need to inject fostimon and menopur separately . I used to mix…which I’d prefer do as it’s less

10dp5dt BFN what more can I do?
hi there so we decided to test this morning with FRER and it’s the all too familiar stark one single line. Not even a glimmer of a second line. I think I’m out. This was our last embryo and was a 5AB. I did an endometrial scratch, I was down regulated on buserelin, my progesterone levels were good and

Buserelin cramps
hi all, hope everyone is ok. Quick question, I’m one week into buserlin and have just started my bleed before my baseline scan Monday. I am having quite possibly THE most horrendous period cramps 😭 quite unusual for me - is this normal? Anyone else experience the same? I thought with down reg things

Buserelin rash
hi all, hope everyone is ok. QQ, I have started round 3 and am taking Buserelin for the first time - I have a pretty large rash on my stomach which hasn’t gone down and it’s been 4 hours since I injected, infact the rash is now worse. I always had a small rash with other drugs which usually went

abiraterone first line use in high risk in U.K. debate after stampede research results
I has moderate hypofraction IMRT 20 x 3Gy (no pelvic radiation - logic = risk PSMA clear plus other pre existing conditions) - 2 months bicalutimide the Zoladex (
goserelin
) - 12 months into it PSA 0.01 3 months post RT remains stable - so far.

Functional ovarian cyst and Frozen embryo cycles
Hi all I just wondered whether any of you had issues with functional cysts and how your clinic dealt with them regarding frozen embryo cycles, did they make you wait until the cyst had gone away? I have had an ovarian cyst and either no period or odd heavy awful periods for the last 7 months. The

Is there anything I should do differently this time? Scheduled for FET after 3 failed fresh transfers
For the last cycle we had 3 embryos left which were frozen and I am scheduled to begin the FET transfer process tomorrow with the
goserelin
injection. I am very worried about the chance of success of the FET given the implantation failed with the same batch during the fresh transfer.

Era cancelled, convert to timed intercourse 🤯 fed up
Hi all, long time no speak! To be honest I've been a bit down in the dumps after my last failed cycle and finding it hard to face the reality of being 42 and running out of time. Haven't been on this forum much as just needed a break, I know you all get it. Before I made any more decisions, I wanted

Is it possible to get pregnant whilst taking buserelin?
I'm currently going through my first cycle of IVF. I started taking Buserelin on May 30th. It's now June 18th, and I've not had a bleed yet. I've spoken to my nurse and she said it could be one of two things. Either, the endometrial lining isn't very thick and there's not really anything there to shed

First Transfer Cancelled
Hi everyone, Today we had our first transfer cancelled. I'm gutted. We have been through the process twice, 3 eggs collected first time, none mature. That was short protocol. This time we did long protocol, buserelin and menopur, 12 follicles, 9 eggs, 4 mature, but 3 were abnormal. So we had one embryo

Endometrial thickness battle
Hi guys, me again going on about the thickness of my uterine lining! I’ve been struggling to get up to a 7 and have had 3 cycles cancelled as I don’t seem to get past a 6/6.8. My most recent scan I was 6.4 and they are now doubling my dosage of progynova along with patches and buserelin. I’m feeling
