Anyone had both Buserelin and Gonasi together?

Hi,

I'm taking my trigger tonight and was meant to take just Gonasi but today they asked me to take both Gonasi and 2ml Buserelin at the same time instead.

Has anyone here had both together? How was it?

Also, if no one minds me asking, why did you have to have both? I'm not sure why mine changed

Hi. I had a dual trigger with both of my private cycles, but not in my NHS cycle.

My private clinic explained to me that there was some evidence to suggest a dual trigger can improve the outcome slightly, whereas when I discussed this with my NHS consultant, he said he didn’t think there was enough evidence recognized by NHS to support the theory…

I didn’t have gonasi though, my clinic gave me Ovitrelle and buserelin. Didn’t notice any major difference symptom-wise with the dual trigger compared to only taking one.

Same - I had an Ovitrelle and Buserelin double trigger in my second cycle. My consultant thought it might just give the eggs an extra boost and improve their maturity. In my first cycle, most of my eggs degenerated by Day 3, so my consultant thought that a double trigger was worth a shot in my second cycle. Good luck x
