Hey everyone, I have recently ...
I was started on the
GnRh
injections back In August, they was 3 monthly injections and I had my second one in November as my consultant was adamant it had run out early as I was bleeding and in agony still! They have made no improvement to my endometriosis and I am still bleeding all the time!

Hello Sisters, Saw a second specialist today for a second opinion as per your advice back at the end of September when the first one turned me down for laparoscopy and instead recommended I try Visanne or
GnRH
analogues.

How long must I wait before I can be referred for IVF?
I'm about to have my merina coil removed as I am getting married in 3 weeks time and we want to start trying for a baby ASAP. 2 years ago after my second lap and
GnRH
treatment, my consultant gynae said that I would likely need ivf, although for the first year after the lap there might be a possibility

Hi!
I have refused the mirena, bad experiences with hormones and the coil previously, and have been offered to be part of a
GnRH
drugs trial. I'm not sure. I'd like to have another baby (I have an 8 year old and I'm currently edging towards 30).

Confused and fed up
They just kept increasing my painkillers and handing me sick notes, then FINALLY I met an amazing GP who took me seriously, referred me to a gynae and they tried me on Prostap (
GnRH
inhibitor) injections, which - despite the horrendous menopause-type side effects - helped massively.

What does this test involve?
Endo says he will be checking my
GnRH
, TRH, Short Synacthen. Does anyone know what kind of diagnoses or indications these tests will be able to yield?

Denied Surgery need advice on these meds
The drug names are visanne c, or dienogest (which he highly recommends) and
GNRH
(anacolae?) can really make out his letters. Can I get some feedback from anyone who's tried these drugs.

Any Psychics?
One gyno specialist has refused surgery and offered me
GNRH
or Visanne. I asked to see another specialist to see if maybe he will consider surgery.

New to this.. Zoladex advice?
Due to my pain increasing the past few weeks my consultant is very persistent on me having the
GnRH
injections (zoladex), but I am very skeptical. I am a student nurse and having time off is really difficult.

She wants me to consider 6 months of

I am on the

GnRH analogues - please help, I'm only 24!
The combined pill and progesterone only pill haven't seemed to work and the consultant has recommended
GnRH
analogue injections - basically a 3 month menopause. I am very worried and scared of the physical effects this will have on my body, especially at such a young age.

Hi ladies. I have developed a rash all over my boobs and it's now going down my arms. It's not itchy or hurt and I feel otherwise well. Could this be a side effect of the decapeptyl or am I just blaming everything on that blooming injection? Barbara. X
