Hi ladies.

I have developed a rash all over my boobs and it's now going down my arms. It's not itchy or hurt and I feel otherwise well.

Could this be a side effect of the decapeptyl or am I just blaming everything on that blooming injection?

yes - hives. and it is a side effect. i got that with zoladex at one point.

blame the pituitary for not regulating your histamine levels... they have shot through the roof.

try anti-histamines - yep just the standard hay fever anti-histamines should over a few days bring the levels back in balance a bit and calm the hives too.

I am snaffling a paragraph from a previous post

" One of the many functions of the Pituitary gland is the production of Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which is needed for controlling your metabolism, blood sugar levels and blood pressure etc.

It is also called cortisone..and you need that to fend off urtcaria or hives "

just search box hives or urticaria for the previous discussions on this.

Oh I did tell you GnRH wasn't a barrel of laughs. I really wasn't kidding was I ?

hugs to you and get on the anti-histamine and see how you get on with that. I will help , but see doc if it doesn't clear it up.
