Hello all. Happy New Year! I am wondering if anyone takes glycine and if so, why, when and how much? I have read conflicting things about glycine and PD. Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering this too. Found this on gelatine which has lots of glycine so why not add it into the diet? draxe.com/gelatin/. Did you ever try it?
This was quite old but looked promising. michaeljfox.org/foundation/...
We got some Glycine (from Now) to try for sleep issues resulting from PD. Unfortunately, I used too high a dose for me and my partner, and she got rather nauseous from it. I should have used no more than three grams per day, given at night, but I used six grams instead. No harm was done but it was unpleasant.
So now we are considering trying it again (this just happened last night) but at a lower dose. My partner is the one with the PD so I am going to try it myself at 3 grams for a couple of days and then if that works out we'll see about starting her on a one gram per day dose and work up to at most two and see if that helps with sleep issues.
