Degarelix and increased diabetes risk?
Just wondering because he had a blood
test
today, and his
glucose
was high. Diabetes runs in his family as his father, brother and sisters all had/have diabetes. Both father and brother passed from complications of diabetes so now an additional worry to think of.

Lightheaded bit dizzy, can that go with IBS?
I od'd on lettuce yesterday silly me. So this morning oops. Very loose tummy. No other suspects or culprits I could think of. A bit of a flare up (for me, but might be mild for people who suffer worse) I feel generally not too great also. Weary, unfit and lower back aches. And when I tip my head

Which test for female hormones?
After a bloody awful nightmare and waking up covered in sweat I did some googling. Anyway; I am 100% convinced there is something not right with my hormones. After testing my blood glucose for a few days (it's ongoing while I experiment) I suspect I've got a level of insulin resistance alongside

Zoe reveals poor blood sugar control?
Can anyone explain why my blood sugar control appears to be poor? I read hypoglycaemia is uncommon except in hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve just started the Zoe nutrition programme. I’m working through their introductory activities eating various combinations and seeing blood sugar responses

Anyone have an opinion on this issue as I prepare to see a MO?
I know that the flotufolastat F 18 gallium causes the hot spots on the PET/CT Scan and is drawn to any cells that are active with cancer or
glucose
and insulin. Is there another
test
that should be done before starting or suggesting a treatment plan?

Low blood glucose levels
Blood
test
results said my blood
glucose
levels were low. My friend says eat more sugar and be ok with being overweight. Has anyone else in my position been told to do that by a doctor. Another blood test is scheduled for next week to see how the land lies.

Glucose Test - what to expect
Hi all! I have my 28 week midwife app tomorrow and have to take the 17 glucose tablets first etc. I’m just wondering what to expect after all those energy tabs? Am I going to be bouncing off the walls and then crashing in the afternoon? Xx

Have I cracked it?
I'm not showing off here, there are a few of us members scratching their heads after having symptoms and signs of over replacement after careful titration and focus on gut health, adrenals, sex hormones etc, just sharing so we can all compare notes. Being over range came as a complete surprise and out

New T3 Supplier Please
Hi Everyone, I posted earlier about my T3 supplier and have been advised by mods to consider change to Tiromel instead as better availability. I would really appreciate details of recent suppliers for this, by DM only please as per group rules. Thank you and keep well everyone. Gillian

Re: ?D102 test
Hiya! Does anyone know, please: 1) If the D102 test is the one that tests for the gene related to t4 to t3 conversion? 2) I looked at Regenerus Labs and on the test it says: “DI02 Support telephone consultation…Recommended: Contact practitioner before placing order” does anyone know what this

latest bloods
I’m on a journey with t3 it’s taking a while. Latest bloods reflect 15mcg taken in one dose and 50mcg levothyroxine I think I need to increase levo but on 75 I was slightly over medicated I felt. A reply on here suggested 62.5mcg as middle road which makes sense to me but pills are tiny and crumbly

T3 private source
I wonder is it possible to source T3 outside of UK as you can with NDT? Been on NDT a few years but this latest batch doesn’t seem to suit like it usually does. Please PM me if know of a reliable source. Thank you.

Was hoping for some advice please
Didn't really receive any advice from my previous post https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/151062372/help-please After dropping from 125mcg Levo to 100mcg and retesting after 9 weeks, my T4, very surprisingly, is still quite high in range and I think I still feel overmedicated. As with last

Short synacthen test. Any restrictions recommended re medicines please
I have a short synacthen booked via endocrinology NHS.As I use inhaler for COPD, I have been advised not to use it after 4pm the day before. Other than this, everything else, including food, as normal. Does anyone know if this is the only medication I should stop. Thanking you
