Fibromyalgia, meds and sweating
Hi all, just wondered if anyone else pours sweat with meds for fm. I was recently put on 30mg duloxetine (always think im talking about paint) then upped to 60mg and the sweating was unbelievable. At night I had to put a cold wet facecloth on my head to cool down. Sweats are always from shoulders up

New on Warfarin today
Hi, started on Warfarin today in preparation for ablation in November. Bit apprehensive as I also take a multivitamin with vitamin K1 in it, Glucosamine and Omega 3 supplements. There can be a conflict between all these with Warfarin I read. I hope I am right in that as I have been 'on' these supplements

Advice needed-running shoes
Hi All I am finally inching closer to the edge of the Injury Couch after 3 long months. Am desperate to get back out there but am also very wary as I cannot afford to injure my knees again. If it happens again, I think that it will be the end of running for me. I got to Wk9 R1 but I should have stopped

Having strong muscular pain and weakness primarily in legs and hips.
Went to see my MD on July 29, 2015 after suffering for about 2 weeks with increasing muscular pains and weakness in legs. He stated because the muscles involved were large that it might be a reaction to taking Simvastatin. I have been taking it for about 8 years and never had a problem before.

Cervical spondylosis
I was diagnosed with CS December 2011, just woke up one morning with a sore neck, I'd say I've tried majority of painkillers, none worked, I'm now taking MST continus, prolonged released morphine tablets 50mg twice a day, they ease the neck pain but do nothing for shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, legs

Dry tongue and soapy taste, sore mouth
Just over the last few days I have had this soapy taste in my mouth, its been very odd, but ignored it as thought it was my toothpaste which I haven't changed. My mouth has been sore inside the lower lips for about a month but I do get this from time to time. Now my tongue is feeling very dry today

Paper skin and bruising
OK is a side issue to COPD but the regular steroid use is creating paper skin problems which are quite severe and, I find, very distressing. Now I am getting easy bruising. When I check I find that the daily aspirin I am on for thrombosis risk (ill-defined bit I have arrythmia) is associated with bruising

Noisy painful joints
Hi all. So happy to find this forum it's wonderful! I'm at the start of my thyroid journey, think it's going to be a long road ahead.... I've started taking a few supplements to help with certain symptoms, iron for anemia and b12 but the thing I'm not sure is for my joints. They are awfully noisy

Total Thyroidectomy & Level 6 Lymphnode Clearance
Update from my last post 3 weeks ago. I had my surgery done 2 days ago. It all seem to have gone well. I was sent home after with Levothyroxine 150 micro and Adacal D3 (twice a day). I'm a bit worry after reading the different experiences some of the members had to endure after taking Levothyroxine
