Liothyroine tablet to capsules?
Hi not posted here in a while so today I was told my TSH is super low below 0.5 and my bloodwork was done before taking my t3. Currently take 40 mcg liothyroine in tablet form. They suggested I go down to 30mcg daily 15 in morning 15 in evening. However they have swapped it to liothyroine capsules.

Hi, thank you for letting me join🙂
I have a long history of Hypothyroidism. A lot of ups and downs on the journey. I was prescribed T3 quite a few years ago but then had it withdrawn because of cost. It took me 10 years to get it reinstated and get my life back on track. It's been a long battle. Am looking forward to connecting with others

Anything I should be doing for auto-immune hypothyroid?
Hi there, I was recently diagnosed by hypothyroidism as GP blood test showed a high TSH level (14.69) along with the symptoms I was experiencing (general tiredness, terrible immune system and weekly cold sores). They didn't do any other tests, and I was keen to also get a baseline on my T3/T4 levels,

Hypothyroidism and levothyroxine treatment only inadequate?
I had a bad experience on levothyroxine only. I am now on T3 but not optimal yet although much better than I was on the levo.I had to go to hospital appointment regarding my dupuytrens contracture, and the doctor, who was going through my medications list, asked why I wasn't on levothyroxine. I told

Hypothyroidism
Hello, I haven’t felt like myself for over a year, started with acid reflux, swelling of hands, feet, eyes and cheeks then itchy skin, fatigue, slow movement, low mood. GP agreed to do blood test, nothing came up except high cholesterol. GP prescribed statins for high cholesterol, antihistamine for swelling

First time posting here with questions
Hello, I was wondering how to tell if you need b12 injections when you take oral b12 and your serum b12 always comes out looking great? I haven't had it tested recently but past tests always come out way over the range. Anyway, I saw a post by @Marz in which she said that she takes b12 due to having

normal TSH help.
I am about to go to the doctors in an hour to speak about some blood tests I had done last week. To me the results are on the higher side. From what I’m reading most doctors don’t like to do antibody tests and t3 and t4. How can I persuade them to do these just to check my levels? I had lots of other

Getting Desperate!
First time poster here! I'm from North Mississippi and I'm needing advice. I have had RLS since 2010 and once I finally got the meds right after diagnosis, I have had very little issues with it. I first tried gabapentin with no relief, then Mirapex with no relief, then Requip worked like a charm.

Sourcing T3
Hi all. Has anyone here tried ordering, or have any information on, a source for T3? I looked up this site and was concerned when I didn't find information I felt confident with. I belong to an exotic cat forum also and people are always posting about being scammed, so I try to get verification before

Exhaustion may not be thyroid related!
Hi all, just wanted to share my recent experience which came as a complete shock/surprise. So, usual story, feeling exhausted, needing to nap all the time, barely able to function. This feeling has been even worse since new year, barely able to get out of bed. Now, I knew I was a poor converter and needed

My calcium level appears low within bone profile blood tests. Are these an accurate representation I wonder?
Diagnosed with osteopenia after having Dexa scans in 2016 and 2023 and breaking wrist and arm in separate incidents of slipping on ice. My concern is that when my calcium is tested via bloods, it comes back as being borderline low even though I’m taking 900mg calcium citrate per day and ingest another

Percent of range
Since your group likes to go by percent of range could you tell me an example of what makes a good balance on free t4, free t3 and tsh. Should they all fall around 50 percent of the range being used for your particular lab?
