Evening all, I’m just looking for some advice or guidance really on my recent blood test results following up on the pain I’ve had in my right hand side upper abdomen. As the title suggests, my GGT has come back very high at 159 (think the average for a woman is under 30) and ALT is also above the

Ultrasonographer said fatty liver and nothing sinister
He then said he couldn't say more and I had to discuss with my GP to decide if further tests were necessary. This arose because I have osteoporosis and my ALP was elevated at 198. They checked my GGT which was 54 and ALT 44. This was on 26th July. Checked again 9th August and ALP 196, ALT 40 and

latest news on liver transplants fo4 young people
take a look at this link where young people are waiting longer than people over age of 60 for transplant decisions made by computer algorithms https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-66259618 any thoughts? I’ve just been given probably 5 years to live without a transplant, and some have been waiting for

PBC or fatty liver
Does this sound like fatty liver or PBC? I was diagnosed 9 years ago with mild fatty liver. They were checking for PBC because I had a ama m2 of 69 and a mildly elevated Alt. I lost weight and my Alt came down. US showed an enlarged liver and biopsy showed only mild fatty liver. I went back to Hepa last

CLL itching
I am convinced that my constant itching problem is a direct result of my condition. Itching has increased over the years and now constant . My only relief is alcohol and THC laced Gummies . All other suggestions would be appreciated .

So much confusion so much pain
I tell you I struggle every day. I look at pics of my wife from this time last year, 2 years ago 3 years ago. My wife was never a drinker. We had a glass of wine at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every now and then, maybe once or twice a year. She would have a drink at our friends. When we moved

Rash from Cirrhosis?
Anyone with cirrhosis have a rash other than jaundice or spider veins? I have little raised red bumps that get very itchy and scaly. They’re mostly on my legs and my back and some along my waistline.

liver enzymes going up and down
I had a routine blood test 18 months ago which showed elevated GGT at 126. My GP told me to cut down on alcohol and I stopped having any alcohol at home and just had an occasional drink if I went out socially. I’ve never been a big drinker anyway. Fast forward to last September when I had another blood

Liver enzymes & blood test results
Hi, firstly thank you all for replying to my previous posts. Your replies were very helpful. I have got my blood test results. They are normal apart of borderline diabetes. It's 44mmol. My Alt and ast is 28 and FBC is 329. I am not sure what this means? My BMI falls in obese category. Doctor told me
