EMAIL from Professor Richard P Allen John Hopkins
Dear Mrs Howard I was sad hearing about your travails getting treatment for RLS. Yes buprenorphine is one of the opioids used for refractory RLS with reasonably good results. It tends to get used after methadone is tried, but it is very effective in many patients. We have long term experience

Should I be shielding ?
Hi everyone ๐ So I have had asthma since I was about 3. The last three years my asthma has gotten worse. In 2016 I has a nasty pneumonia that developed and was hospitalised for 5 days and spent weeks off of work recovering. It took me about a year to feel someone normal and I've been hospitalised once

Could I have chlamydia? Could my baby have chlamydia?
I tested positive for chlamydia a year ago and took the medication and all was fine. But I then slept with the person who gave me it again (stupid I know) but I thought they had got rid of it like I did. Then 10 months on they told me they still had it so of course I went to get tested and I have a new

Endo, cystitis and constipation
For the past nine months or so I've have cystitis around seven times, always needing antibiotics to clear up. I've also suffered from constipation three times severe enough to need prescription meds to clear. I've begun to notice the constipation comes around the time of my period. Has anyone else experienced

NHS UK on line information sheet: interstitial cystitis
I totally understand that at the moment there are more important things to do than updating online information sheets. However, once the coronavirus is over (very soon for everyone), could we ask the NHS to include endometriosis in the section explaining what conditions are associated with interstitial

5 Weeks with a dry throat / cough and ongoing...
I was wondering how long the dreaded โCโ symptoms have been lasting for people on here?? Obviously like most, I have no idea whether Iโve got it or not but I started getting a very dry throat / cough 5 weeks ago and since then itโs been up and down. One minute getting better, one minute getting worse

Trouble Breathing, Severe Health Anxiety
Hi everyone, itโs been a long time since Iโve posted on here, but this whole COVID situation has spiked my anxiety to an uncontrollable level. 3 weeks ago, I developed a headache that lasted for 3 days. Along with the headache, I experienced body aches, fatigue, chills, intense stomach pains, and diarrhea

UTI
Hi So Iโve recently had UTI, and was on antibiotics but now I think I have it again. The doctor wants me to go for a blood test at the hospital, but Iโm quite concerned about this? With everything thatโs going on is it safe.

Very tiny bump on foreskin
A few days ago I noticed a very small bump (<1mm) on my foreskin about 1 inch from the glan. I have recently been masturbating without lubricant but stopped when I noticed this little bump. I also shaved recently for the first time 5 days ago. It does not hurt or itch. It is slightly red. I would post
