Why am I going cold?
I'm normally a very warm person. My treadmill is out in an unheated conservatory. When I run on the treadmill, I always have a separate fan blowing full blast as I get so hot. Just lately, about 1 hour after any of my runs/exercise (treadmill or outdoors) I get extremely cold? Is there a reason

Feeling the cold
Feeling cold is a pretty reliable sign for me that my dose needs raising. GP just dropped me from 100 to 75mcg level because TSH is suppressed. My question is: is the sensation of cold a subjective thing i.e. I FEEL cold, or is it an actual temperature drop? I just took my temp and is was 35.8°C.

Flaxseed
My NMD told me that flaxseed causes estradiol to decrease in preference of estriol. Estriol is supposedly good for PCa depending on how much ERb and ERa one has. I have been on supraphysiologic testosterone (SPT) for a little over a year. I use an AI (letrozole) and my estradiol hovered around 20 pg/

Some of you have reached out to me and have asked after hubby so I thought I would start a new post. Thank you for asking and for your concern. It’s been about 5 months since I last checked in. To be honest I needed an escape from seeing how many newbies have had a need for this site, how many people

Pneumonia or Thyroid?
Hi All, Firstly, thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum, which is a god send to those of us with GP’s who aren’t informed about thyroid disease, to say the least. I’m sorry if this post is a little long but I’m putting down everything I think might be relevant – essentially I’ve had very

Thomas Seyfried
Hello Darryl, I have been enjoying some of the interviews you've done. Thank you very much. I was wondering if you would ever consider interviewing Thomas Seyfried. I have read some of his work and specifically his theory about cancer being a disease of the mitochondria. As far as I can tell, he

Chronic constipation
Please help with some advice. My husband is having so much trouble with constipation. He has tried increasing fiber and liquids, stool softeners, Miralax, Metamucil, magnesium citrate, Senna, Linzess, etc. etc. The only thing that gets him actually going is Dulcolax. He has been to the emergency

IVIG: Wondering if it's right for me? Your experience?
Had anyone with CLL and on ibrutinib had IVIG treatment? I'm thinking about it -- but would like more information; eg side effects, duration of benefits, etc. (Iwas inthe ICU rhis summer with viral pneumonia after a trip to Israel).

Sinusitis
I have persistent Sinusitis over 6 months plus and have now tried 3 different strength antibiotics with the last being co-amoxiclav. None have helped and I’m unsure the ENT specialist correlates the diagnosis with CLL. If anyone has any thoughts or experience of the same ? I tested positive for

New To CLL and I had Covid in March 2020.
Hello, I'm 49 and I was diagnosed with CLL in November of this year. It's been quite a year. Both myself and husband got covid in March, his case was mild but mine was severe. I had bilateral pneumonia and acute respiratory failure, I was put on high flow oxygen and after that failed to work I was placed

Cough. Ongoing.
My “asthma cough” has been present for about 4 months now. Often during the day it’s hardly there, but at night/early morning i have a coughing fit, which means getting up, having a hot drink, and sitting up. I’ve decided I prefer coughing to feeling the breathlessness which freaks me out. With my cough

Flu Jab
Hi all, I am on 100 mcg Levothyroxine. I have never a flu jab before but does anyone know if there is any reason why I should not one? Many thanks.

Asthma or bronchiectasis???
Hello all, I've had mild asthma all my life but the last few years it has become difficult to control with the regular inhalers. Bronchitis- prednison events 3 times a year. Last winter I was put on nebuliser (corticosteroids plus extra saline) treatment, and that really helps. After much delay earlier
