Slight rant *could be sensitive*
I understand the strain on services at the moment I really do but cant help but feel so alone right now. I got my bfp 27th Jan and first scan lined up for 8 weeks 3 days with ivf clinic. Since my bfp I have had bleeding, mainly brown bit of red, small clot. I'm not feeling optimistic in the slightest

I'm out today
Hello ladies! Last night I just noted minimal brown/pink discharge on my progesterone pessary. This morning was also just on pessary. But today evening, I think I started on my periods. Its bright red in color on the tissue with lower abdo cramps too. Do I still need to continue with progesterone or

6 days post FET - nervous, hopeful and just stir crazy!
The heading says it all! I am 6 days post frozen transfer. I don't know the quality of the embie, they didn't tell me. All I know is that it was frozen at 6 days and defrosted successfully. It was "expanded" which the embryologist said was "good" with a smile. So I am keeping everything crossed! 😊😊

Accidentally swallowed pessary 🤦🏾♀️
Can you believe it? Oh my goodness. What happened was, I was making my morning tea, running through various things in my mind. So I go to where all my pills are and took out my pessary and my estrace. Meant to swallow estrace but ended up swallowing both. Wasn't till I was opening the applicator wrapper

Thrush?
I have been suffering with thrush like symptoms for 4 weeks now. It started off with itching but I also had UTI symptoms. I rang the GP who suggested taking pessary and cystitis sachets. These didn’t work so I rang up and was given antibiotics and an oral tablet for thrush. Things for better and the

New treatment plan: to include lactobacillus pills and prolutex progestogen injections
Having only had a chemical pregnancy confirmed days ago... The clinic in Prague are keen to get me started on new treatment plan and want me to travel back to Prague in January to attempt a 2nd transfer. I do feel it's a little rushed as am just getting my head around all that's happened in the last

First IVF cycle. Nervous about pessaries after egg collection.
This may seem like a silly thing to worry about, but I'm really nervous about using a pessary after my egg collection 😬 I was a little apprehensive about the injections which are absolutely fine but just can't seem to shake my feelings about the pessary. I've never felt comfortable wearing tampons so

Progesterone (cyclogest) pessary and increase in resting heart rate?
Hello, I wonder if anyone has experienced any increase in resting heart rate when taking progesterone pessaries. I am currently taking cyclogest twice a day and noticed an increase of about 2-3 points. In fact this whole month its been higher than normal. In fact, if I compare it to start of last month

Red spotting followed by brown day 13 of two week wait
Hi, I woke up to a small amount of red spotting in my pyjamas this morning. I am 13dp5dt of two fresh embryos (transfer was Wed 11th Nov). My clinic said to change the pessaries to rectally incase it’s irritation. I asked whether to increase the progesterone but they said no. Why not? I am taking

Progesterone support for Natural FET
I recently had FET and was told that my progesterone level was very good at 52.4 (clinic is usually happy with above 30). When I asked the consultant whether I need progestrone support, she said it’s entirely upto me, I don’t need it but it doesn’t do any harm so they gave me the prescription. So I started

Cyclogest pessaries - advice
I’m 5dp5dt and have been using Cyclogest vaginally but its starting to feel irritated down there and leaves quite a mess. The doctor said to insert the pessary vaginally however, reading the leaflet it states you can also insert in the back passage. So my question is does it matter where I put it?

Feeling a bit worried 😟
we got a positive blood result last week from our frozen embryo transfer. I've got a bit of browny discharge, instead of the usual cream from the pessary and a little red/brown blood on wiping!! Is it over before we've even got started? 🙈😭

Pessary Ring
Hi Anyone that has read my previous posts which I started about three years ago will know that I started using a pessary ring about two years ago. After a couple of tries I found the size that was the right fit and it worked fine. I was due for my check up and ring change in March but due to Covid

Antibiotics- help with aches?
I have nearly completed a course of Flucoloxacillin (for a vaginal infection- pessary ring) and can't believe how much better I feel😊. Could the antibiotics be helping the PMR? And will this continue when I finish the course 🤞Beginning a taper from 4.5 to 4 tomorrow and feel really positive.
