Cancer was first flagged
last
February so I’m doubting if another few weeks will make any difference and the
gastroscopy
and hystoscopy found nothing major and certainly not cancer, all thoughts and comments welcome thank you.

Going round in circles
Following my

this is on the report: THE GASTRIC MAPPING SHOW MODERATE CHRONIC INFLAMMATION. THERE IS MULTIFOCAL INTESTINAL METAPLASIA THROUGHOUT THESE BIOPSIES. THERE IS ALSO SEVERE GLANDULAR ATROPHY WITH NEUROENDOCRINE HYPERPLASIA.

Following a
gastroscopy
a few weeks ago I ended up with a cold, then a sore throat, followed by a flare up of my Sjögren’d’s. I had a 2 hour emergency appointment with an Opthalmologist who scanned my eyes and was brilliant. She gave me different eye drops and is changing the lenses in my glasses.)

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My GP referred for a
gastroscopy
but then the FIT stool test came back full of blood so I have been referred for a colonoscopy too. My GP does not think it’s cancer but I have been referred urgently.

it’s not all asthma
No says I so she referred me for an
gastroscopy
which I had at the beginning of December. She also added a H2 reflux pill. The tests results showed a 7cm hiatal hernia. My asthma is still there but only a fraction of what it was. Turns out a lot of my asthma symptoms were in fact GERD.

Bloating
Hi....I've battled with IBS for many years and following endoscopy and
gastroscopy
I was diagnosed with a lazy stomach. Dietary controls and careful eating seemed to keep things under control with minimal 'episodes' of wind, bloating and diarrhea.

Abdominal discomfort, bloating, indigestion?
Gastroscopy

Macrophage Activation syndrome anyone ?
Telephone consultations have resulted in many blood tests, a
gastroscopy
, a night in ER revealing Orthostatic hypotension (I’m dubious about this) and some innocuous meds.

I’m Coco & today Joolsg suggested I post re upcoming NHS Iron Infusion
I suspect all my docs think they had to resort to IV iron because
gastroscopy
found widespread oesophageal heavy bleeding, ulceration & stricture + swelling, polyps etc. …and, earlier in my life, oral iron meds have aggravated all my chronic inflammatory mouth to exit GI tract conditions.

High platelets update….opinions please…..
Gastroscopy
and Colonoscopy all clear. Do have Vitiligo, Underactive thyroid, Irritable Bowel and allergies. All other blood parameters fine apart from slightly high Eosinophils. Today I had my telephone appointment with my Haematologist to discuss my latest platelet count result.

Diagnosis at last! Haemochromotosis?
Also had a
gastroscopy
in early May (no varices but some pressure changes) and an ECG and told he'd probably need a liver transplant.Today we saw incredibly kind and compassionate hepatologist who confirmed cirrhosis but at an early compensated stage, no need for transplant but will have 6 monthly ultrasounds
