No residual Barrett's

Hello everyone, thought I would share my good news with you all. Had a Gastroscopy yesterday after treatment for Barrett's 6 months ago. Comments read: No evidence of cancer seen for this endoscopy. No residual Barrett's. Minor scarring in the lower oesophagus from previous therapy. What a relief, they have taken some biopsies so I have to wait for those results but I am so pleased and grateful to all at Portsmouth and Chichester.

Fantastic news! Unfortunately they don't offer treatment in my area, people are just left to live with it. My friend has Barret's & it's gone a stage further unfortunately. What was the treatment & was it painful? God bless x

So sorry to hear they don't offer treatment in your area. I had 2 Argon Plasma Coagulation treatments and no I didn't suffer any pain after the treatments. So fortunate. I will be thinking of your friend and hope they get treatment soon.

That is great news so pleased for you.
