Had Gastroscopy yesterday,
The
gastroscopy
yesterday, was a bit uncomfortable only had a throat spray so I could drive home after. Well had a few problems due to my dr telling me a few years ago that I did not need to take acid meds everyday as I was doing and to only take them when needed !

Did colonoscopy,
gastroscopy
and they confirmed 5cm big hiatal hernia and cascading stomach. I am taking chewable aspirin daily 75 mg and thats it. My quality of life has gone downhill since then. As I dont know what happened I always have that posibility of it happening again in my head.

Tests before ablation
Anyway as one of the pre-ablation tests they did a
gastroscopy
. Is that normal elsewhere? The reason for asking is if it isn't then I may have very good reason to be grateful that I am seeking treatment here, and feeling that way would help my mental state. Thanks in advance for answers.

Possible stomach cancer
Anyway they're nothing if not thorough here, a legacy from communist times, and carried out a
gastroscopy
, found an ulcer and said it might be cancerous. When pressed they said 50 / 50 it's cancerous. They promised results next week.

Cancer referral nightmare
I had a
gastroscopy
quite quickly on 27 August, but since then I have not heard a single thing, other than as a result of me pleading/complaining; namely that a virtual clinic to discuss my case was due three weeks ago today; and last Wednesday was told that a letter had been dictated, but was awaiting

Pred and gastroscopy
I’m having a gastroscope on Wednesday at 8.30 am. I usually take me Pred with breakfast around 8.30 - 9.00. I’ve been given conflicting advice about when to take it to accommodate the gastroscope. One nurse in that department said to just miss a day (!) . I later spoke to someone else in the department

Hernia affecting breathing?
About 10 years ago I had a
gastroscopy
and they found that the sphincter at the top of the stomach was not closing properly and prescribed lansoprazole. so things could have developed in meantime. Anybody relate to this, please?

Potential Covid-2019 vaccine side effect
My doctor ordered various exams like colonoscopy,
gastroscopy
, blood and urine tests including the following (in case diarrhea problem was MS related): 1)V.I.P. blood test (Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide) . VIP is a neuropeptide that functions as a neuromodulator and neurotransmitter.

Should I get second opinion? Rheumy not convinced.
After few months I finally had
gastroscopy
and colonscopy after gastritis-like-episode. Stomach lining was slight red like watermelon pattern but no bleeding, GERD was found, but biopsies fine.

Has anybody been diagnosed with Gilbert's syndrome?
I've had lots of bloods ct scan and
gastroscopy
and I've followed the fodmap diet. Things finally are settling down and i Saw the consultant again on Friday he thinks I have slow transit which was causing over flow 😪 and I'm to continue with precalopride for a few months.

I am tired of high GGT, ALT and ALP
I had all of it - colonoscopy,MRI, CT,
gastroscopy
and fibroscan. All is normal. But why GGT sits in 130, ALP in 150 and ALT in 60? It has been like that for 4 months and no improvement. :( . Pain under my ribs went away for some time and now it is back. I dont know what think anymore.

Dry mouth and other symptoms.
I've been through a whole slew of tests (ultrasound/CT/fibroscan/
gastroscopy
/conolonscopy) but nothing definitive has turned up. Only thing that's shown up is nodularity and atrophy of my left liver lobe, and some mildly coarse echotexture on the ultrasound.

He is awaiting a
gastroscopy
to see if he has any var(?) That may cause internal bleeding. Obviously we don't want to endanger his life. We know it is early days as was only discharged 1 May 21 after seeing GP eith breathlessness. He is eating well, now he's got his appetite back..

Help needed to understand blood results please
I underwent loads of blood tests, stool tests and a
gastroscopy
and endoscopy with no findings or answers as to why I was anaemic. In March this year, I was given a months supply of iron by my GP and sent on my way no further forward and with no idea as to what is going on with me.

Tingling and pain in hands and feet - could it be the B12?
Two days ago I got a
gastroscopy
and yesterday I was feeling understandably a bit low after the stress of the procedure, and low and behold tingling came back in force.
