Eye pain
Has anyone had eye pain that improved once they began treatment? I have eye pain in only right eye, I have seen ophthalmologist. retina specialist, and neurologist. I’ve been treated for migraines, but a dull pain still remains, My MPN specialist said it may be side effect from MPN ? Any thoughts?

Let's talk about human rights. Nature. And why do Abrahamic religions take women's rights in fear ppl are going extinct.
Why are people so concerned about "procreate"? I'm alive and i hate every second of it. We aren't polar bears. Which are really going extinct. Nature has life/death balance. The more births, the more deaths and vice versa. You have seen the baby booms after wars and pandemics. Muslims are more homophobic

What I see where my vision is impaired
My name is Michael. I'm 43 years old. I was diagnosed with macular dystrophy several years ago. I was told that without some type of genetic test that it's difficult to know whether or not it is adult onset or Best's Disease. At that time, I had never heard of this condition. Previous visits to the optometrist

But the morning i got back, took a shower, tried to sleep, my hair still wet, worried if i got myself sick, a lot of anxiety. Couldn't

Advice about hair loss please
Hi, so diagnosed with sub hypo 2 months ago with very raised antibodies. I've been on 50mg levo which was raised due to symptoms after a few weeks so now on 75mg. But while I have seen an improvement in other symptoms my hair is shedding even more. Can anyone advise how long does it take to calm down

Glaucoma suspect
Please let me know if high IOC can suddenly cause headaches even though not diagnosed with Glaucoma. Waking up with headaches sweating dry mouth last week since attending eye clinic. Dont know if connected to eyes or just stress after consultant telling me to start eye drops as preventative. Appreciate

Parkinsons and the subconscious mind.
Parkinsons has been quite a journey. I’m 4.5 years in. I try not to be on this board very often because I find myself obsessing over things I can’t control. I really wonder if they could ever really cure Parkinsons because of the emotional and mental part of the disease. The unconscious mind can do

After all i live in a ceiling with no privacy and clean water and missing my sister just to be away from mom. Confused about reliability of visual fields tests results
Hello everyone,I'm feeling confused about how visual fields tests relate to real life experience of visual changes. I'm wondering how to communicate with consultants etc if what I experience, and what their tests say, don't match up. Today at my glaucoma clinic appointment I did a visual fields test

Tissue Press Method for Instilling Eyedrops
Hello from Canada. While I am new here, I am not new to glaucoma. I’ve been taking drops for 10 years and have had two SLT surgeries. Covid delays have really slowed testing and seeing an opthamologist so I am really not sure about the progression of my glaucoma. I have to wait until April for a visual

Houston Research Organization Successfully Treats 24 Patients in FDA-Authorized Parkinson’s Study
In this Phase II, double blind, placebo-controlled study, 24 patients received six intravenous infusions of 200 million stem cells each over a 32-week period, or approximately 1.2 billion cells total. The trial is the first globally to administer pure mesenchymal stem cells, an adult stem cell harvested

Dry Eye Masks
Hi, can you use a dry eye mask if you have had both eyes operated with the Preserflo Microshunt. Had my eyes tested at the opticians and they suggested using one. Surely the hospital would have also suggested it? It’s the thought of putting something warm on both eyes and then the instructions to wipe

Unhappy experience with Specsavers
My elderly father visited Specsavers as instructed by the DVLA for his 3 yearly field test (he has glaucoma but this condition has been stable for years); my father is not computer literate and equates the field test equipment as a computer causing a lot of stress. The staff did not inform him he could

Iopidine after SLT
As I am so allergic to most eye drops yesterday I had SLT as the pressure has been going up. I read that after having this you can have a pressure spike and was really worried because after my cataract surgery the pressure went from 20 to34 and I had to take Acetazolamide for two weeks which made me

Concern about getting more Covid-19 vaccines.
I was diagnosed under 2 years ago. I guess I’ve had it since 2007. Just wondering about getting more Covid-19 vaccines. I have believed it is a good idea to get them. But every time I have I get some very odd things I’ve never experienced before. Rash. Sore in my eye. Eye infection. I cut my arm and

Mixed up with recent diagnosis
Hi everyone. It has been so good to read all the different posts about Glaucoma and Glaucoma suspect and interocular eye pressure. I was with private consultant here in Ireland just three days ago who did visual field test and put in the dye etc. to exam my optic nerve. She said optic nerve seemed normal

Eye side effects on biologics for rheumatoid arthritis
Has anyone else has very dry and sore eyes on biologics? Did it get better over time or did you have to stop/ switch to an alternative? I had this with adalimumab (Amgevita) so switched to etanercept (Benepali) but the same thing is happening again. I’m so keen to get better but my eyes are very sore
