Lupus Anticoagulant positive update 3
The question in my head, do I give extra
fragmin
and hope for the best or leave it and show the consultants just how bad she is on Thursday?

Very hot and itchy, need advice
Could this be an allergy to the
Fragmin
? I was supposed to have a duplex scan in next week or so but instead it has been added to outpatient app in Feb. I was supposed to have my anticoagulat reviewed at scan too but guess im doing the
fragmin
till outpatient app.

Scary Update on a thread of mine
Is there any reason why I cannot stay on Heparin, which is
Fragmin
15,000IU/0.6ml long term. Injecting does not worry me. My GP is fine with it, but we realise we maybe overruled by the Hematology team, clearly I have to be on something now, but I want it to be right from the get go.

Stinging Fragmin Injections
The only issue I have is these
Fragmin
injections, I have to self-inject every day for 2 weeks to stop my blood clotting and I'm hating it! I've never been ok with needles it's crazy.

Reflexology and warfarin?
I have APS and take Warfarin and Aspirin (
Fragmin
when INR too low) I've been asked to be a case study for a friend training in Reflexology. Does anyone know if it is okay to have Reflexology whilst on Warfarin?

Will they do an Embryo Transfer if you have mild OHSS?
They have also given me
Fragmin
to take starting Day 2 (blood thinners). I’m very confused? If my OHSS symptoms don’t get worse will I be suitable for ET?

In need of a consultant who follows Prof Hughes protocol
Basically I was diagnosed sero negative in 2004 by Prof Hughes and treated with warfarin, later
fragmin
. Now I have nobody to support me. I don’t want to be on
fragmin
forever it’s been 3 years now plus I’m getting older too.

Another negative result 😢 next steps?
They also put me on
fragmin
. Had a fresh 5 day transfer, then a frozen. Most recent cycle we got five blasts. One fresh transfer, and two embryos put back for the frozen transfer. Two left in the freezer and looking to change to a different consultant.

Fragmin tips please!
Ok, ladies who have been doing
fragmin
or clexane for a while, any top tips? They’re little stingers of injections but at least they’re a pre-filled syringe this time so no drawing up and mixing! I know it’s going to bruise my tummy but... Will it bruise less if I ice it?

Prof. Hughes August Blog
This is a 2 to 3 week trial of (low molecular weight) heparin such as Clexane or
Fragmin
(I usually use subcutaneous ‘
Fragmin
’ 5,000 – 10,000 units daily). This usually gives a clear idea of whether more substantive anticoagulation is likely to work.

Can this be real?
My husband has been great but I do worry as at the moment I’m having to be injected with
fragmin
to stop me from clotting . Only he seems to rather enjoy the process of jabbing me ,a little to much !!

Advice on blood test result please
Picked up respiratory infection, had chest pain, and stabbing pain lower back right side on Monday, suspected PE, as a precaution was put on
Fragmin
