Well, that was interesting!
The good old BBC weather forecast said it would be about 5 degrees at 6:30 this morning - it was 4 and the headwind was strong as I battled up hill. A pair os short shorts and a Helly Hansen L/S Lifa top really didn't offer much protection. My fault for not going out better prepared! I did feel like

Muscle pain from ADT
Five months into ADT, severe muscle pain has emerged. Since I have not had any pain for decades except from bicycle falls, I assume the pain is cancer related. Since the area of pain has moved once, from just beneath my shoulder on the back side to my upper arm, both on the left side, I assume it

Due for my prolia...
I have read MPN May increase risk of
fractures
but I hate this prolia as if you stop there is an increased risk of fracture! Being on clopidergrel, HU, Apixaban already feels like enough... am really tempted to just up the exercise and cont8nue high calcuim diet.

Weight loss, Osteoporosis, treatments,and fractures?
Since being on the bone treatments and having
fractures
my weight has declined and I can not regain what I have lost. I am interested to find out if I am on my own with this problem or if it is a common occurance.

Does infrared therapy help arthritis pain?
I have recently been diagnosed with fairly severe osteoarthritis in my knee. Some research articles suggest infrared therapy may help with the pain. I am thinking of buying a lamp. Does anyone have any positive experience? Thanks.

Frustration
In 2017 she fell backwards down the stairs and broke her neck including multiple other
fractures
. I was at college at the time as a mature student studying 3 science a-levels and somehow managed to get through it and look after mum.

Hyaluronic acid tablets
Hi everyone wanted to know if anyone has taken hyaluronic acid and collagen supplement to ease the pain in knees?? I’m taking turmeric but not really helping with pain and stiffness. Hope you all have a pain free evening and a good night’s sleep.

Five years on Prolia Zero side effects plus started two more years additional.
My doctor did not seem at all concerned of any rebound spine
fractures
when I showed her the high lighted warning listed by Prolia document. She seemed to think close observation was enough. Stated it hasn’t happened in her practice. That’s scary!

Hey gang, just read this article: https://medicalxpress.com/news/2021-03-walkers-die-covid-.html Also exercise (cardio/weights) has benefits especially with the side effects of ADT: fat gain, muscle loss, osteoporosis, heart disease, and depression. https://www.health.harvard.edu/mens-health/3-ways-exercise-helps-the-prostate-yes-the-prostate

Mets after 2yrs and .01 PSA? New cancer?
He has had
fractures
on the past on his ribs even prior to cancer. The oncologist called him in to tell him that he met with several other doctors because they are stumped. They are shocked his PSA is .01 but there are possible bone mets.

SOC standard info on starting Xgeva without bone issues.
In Jan. 2020, after I had been on Lupron since 11/2018, my MO started me on Xgeva even though 1. I had never had a bone density scan and 2. Had no diagnosis of osteoporosis or other indicators of bone issues. In Sept. 2020 I had my first ever bone density scan and it was normal. Since then, I have read

Wk7R1 in new trainers
I graduated last year but with all that has happened over the year my fitness dropped and I had to start all over again. I have always been confident that I could do it again so it all started well. Then I realised that my trusty trainers were looking very sorry for themselves. With the shops being shut

I am on my 3rd round of taxotere
I am on the 3rd round of taxotere and I am to the point that there is no relief between the treatments. It has pretty much incapacitated me because of the pain and body aches. The only time I get relief is when I start the the steroids again..... Was advised to just take advil and tylenol alternately
