Inhalers and reflux
I take
Fostair
NEXThaler and the occasional puff of Ventolin for bronchiectasis and asthma. More recently I've started getting reflux, for which I've been given Omeprazole.

Hi all, I’ve been taking
fostair
100/6 for nearly 2 1/2 months now, and was just wondering if anybody else suffers dizziness and lightheaded symptoms?? 😩

Fostair causing high liver readings in blood tests
Can
fostair
cause high liver readings in blood tests as this is the only new medication I have taken since last blood tests. I'm with doctor on Friday so will ask all the questions to him. Also does anyone else get side effects from
fostair
Any information would be great. Thanks

Week 6 asthma attack just after I’d entered London Marathon ballot!
I always dose up on my
fostair
before I go out and I always take my ventolin out with me but I just couldn’t run through it. So I walked instead. I was gutted.

Starting Fostair 100/6
I’ve now been put on
fostair
100/6 2 puffs morning and night to try and help me and try and stop this cough I can’t get rid of! Has anyone else recently started this and found a huge difference? I’m really hoping this inhaler will work!

Leg cramps and heavy feeling in chest
Started on

Cheaper not necessarily better!
Then my sister said she had tried
Fostair
and it had really helped her. So I changed to
Fostair
much to my chagrin.

Cough, cough, cough....
I’m constantly coughing especially when I’m on bed, it disturbs my sleep every single night, I’m not too bad during the day, but at night it feels like it’s all night long, I’m on
Fostair
100/6, when I mentioned it to the asthma nurse (who to be honest was more than useless) she never even acknowledged

Husband still suffering eosinophilic asthma mentioned but not yet diagnosed.
He visits respiratory at the hospital every fortnight and last Friday actually saw the consultant who added montelukast to his medications and increased his
fostair
200/6 from 2 puffs twice a day (which we thought was the maximum) to 2 puffs 4 times a day.

He has had lots of courses of pred since January, a week in hospital, various inhalers and now has 200/6
fostair
, anti histamines, nasal spray and reliever. He finished a 14 day course of pred 2bqeeks ago, asthma nurse was pleased as his PF hit 600 (that's amazing and it was that for 2 days).

Powder v MDI Inhaler (e.g. Fostair)
This is still tentative but, having recently decided to switch back to an ‘MDI’ style
Fostair
Inhaler (which I was on before switching to a
Fostair
NextHaler a year or two back) I must say I’m now feeling much better.
