Do some meds trigger asthma
Meds as follows amlodopine Digoxin Lipitor Edoxaban Lansoprazole I am now on
Fostair
and Montelukast for asthma control which developed in October 2023. Doctor said I am allergic to grass pollen but never had a problem since early 20`s when I had hay fever, nothing since.

Asthma flare ups
I am on
Fostair
, 2 puffs twice a day and up to 8 puffs a day as per asthma plan as required. I have been prescribed Prednisolone several times after flare ups. I do get perfect relief from the steroids, but after a couple of weeks the asthma rears it`s ugly head again.

Fostair side effects
I was prescribed
Fostair
Nexhaler for asthma - no wheezing, no coughing, never had an asthma attack. I used the inhaler for around a month, during which time I had aches and cramps in my calf muscles, hand tremors and felt unusually sad.

Causes Of Breathlessness
There were moderately sharp attacks, with some worsening beforehand, that responded really well to
fostair
mart and breathing exercises helped, but did not solve and went on for a while. So probably asthma.

Seen my GP who says MART therapy is now used & suggested Fobumix inhaler Any thoughts?
Hi I posted last week after my Asthma review with a health care assistant at my GP surgery who basically tried to tell me to use my
Fostair
as both a preventer & reliever & tried to remove my Salbutamol Inhaler.

Fostair
The respiratory nurse (I've had a series of chest infections) has reduced my prescription for pred to 1mg daily, and commented that the steroid in
Fostair
should increase the steroid effect for my PMR.

CT scan and inhalers
I am trying a new inhaler instead of the Trimbow it’s
Fostair
and so far so good ,breathing a lot better and walking faster , still coughing a few times but the horrible hacking cough I had with the Trimbow is subsiding . At the moment all seems very well 😊 ❤️Sandra

Spiriva respirmat and Fostair
Community respiritory nurse changed my inhalers from Braltus and Duoresp to
Fostair
and Spiriva respirmat. This was 2 months ago. Question is for the past 4 or 5 weeks I have been getting quite bad muscle abd joint pain. Has anyone else had this on any if these inhalers or is it just coincidence.

Fostair 100/6
She advised me to increase my
fostair
maintenance to 3 puffs twice a day. However I was under the impression that 4 puffs was the max per day for
fostair
when you use a reliever inhaler also and not using the
fostair
under the MART plan?

salbutamol and hands
hi everyone, I use
Fostair
and salbutamol, alongside tiotropium. My hands have been so shaky and sore since flare up which was in November. This makes my hands hard to use and very painful. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to support the pain and shakiness?

Dosages
I have just been moved to 640 of alvesco and 800 of
fostair
100 a day by my consultant. What are the rules on dosages when combining different inhalers, can you just have the maximum dosage of each inhaler.

4 emergency hospital trips since February
Only thing they did was change my seretide to
fostair
and the asthma nurse said to not use my blue inhaler as much. I was blue light to hospital on the 6th February and into resus and kept in for one night. Happened again on 20th February and kept in for 2 nights.
