silent reflux / fostair?

hi everyone, been on this forum all day

so over a month ago (mid December) I had a nagging dry cough that was increasingly getting worse and worse - wheezing, coughing fits, unable to lie down without having a coughing fit - and was then prescribed fostair for the first time in my life

Around the time of prescription I developed some type of infection I now believe to be viral - swollen sinuses , heavy thick coloured mucus , general feeling of being run down

I was prescribed anti biotics for this but did not notice much improvement and rather the illness ran its course but still the cough and post nasal sensation persisted …

I then had this incredibly strange dry cough that felt as is my throat was closing up and breathing whilst there was incredibly hard and scary - absolutely gasping and wheezing for air and only after I belched a ton of air i felt I could breathe again

I had not had this until after I started fostair And am wondering if this could be a side effect or whether it could induce reflux specifically silent reflux ? As this has been brought to my attention by my gp

I am just wondering if anyone else has had this side effect or noticed this

I still have the sensation of a post nasal drip, coughing in the morning and night that starts dry but then produces clear mucus

I believe it might be worth mentioning when I in Italy started to take fostair I was not rinsing my mouth and have only just started to do this

I am no longer taking my fostair and have switched to clenil
