Biphosphonates and oral thrush.
After 2 years of
Forsteo
and trying Raloxofine (and 3 fractures later) I had 2 courses of Ibandronic acid and along with other side effects the Oral Thrush returned. I again stopped the injections had treatment for the oral thrush and have been clear since.

Journey with osteoporosis.
I have had treatment with Bisphosphonates,

, Raloxafine and Prolia. I have 4 spinal fractures, one of which occurred 8 years ago, I then had 2 more 1 in May 2017 and 1 in June 2017 my more recent one was in January 2019. These have happened without any trauma and whilst on treatments.

No meds can help - ANY FURTHER OPTIONS - please?
Hello, there, everyone. I am one of the victims of Prolia. I have just turned 60 and am recovering from 5 vertebral fractures after stopping taking Prolia in October of 2017. I have already exhausted my bisphosphonate period (I was first diagnosed about 12 years ago) and unfortunately, after the fractures

Risedronate (Actonel),raloxifene (Evista) or teriparatide (Forsteo)? Which do I choose? Experiences?
My preference is
Forsteo
(if my specialist will prescribe it - health care system is not public like NHS so options are often available), or Evista/raloxifene.

Forteo potential dangers
In Australia Forte has Black Box because during trials on rats it caused bone cancer. It should only used in extreme cases Also in Australia it can only be used for 18 months in your whole lifetime due to the risks (2 years in Europe ) Also due to lack of studies no one can tell you authoritively what

Throat pain vs cirrhosis?
Because I have treatment for severe osteoporosis (daily
Forsteo
injection), I am not allowed to take stronger antibiotics. I was wandering if my throat pain can be related with cirrhosis. Thank you

No diagnosis - treating symptoms only help please
After my latest test results I've accepted that my symptoms will be treated but not my thyroid. To be fair to my gp, she did all the tests including anti bodies and T3 and they show nothing that indicates a thyroid problem. I'm convinced there is one but I'll just have to be further down the line before

I am about to start Forsteo injections daily, is there anyone else taking the same, and how are you coping? I
Have had some spinal fractures, now healed, hence my endocrinologist starting the
Forsteo
. I apparently builds new bone, and is taken for 2 years. Quite a commitment, but worth it if it helps ,

Osteoporosis and MS.
Hi everyone, Is anybody on
Forsteo
(osteoporosis) and Gilenya (starting this drug next week for MS) ? I am a bit apprehensive as Gilenya lowers your immune system and
Forsteo
carries a risk of bone cancer. I would like to know whether combining these 2 drugs is safe.
