I have been told I have osteoporosis of spine T score of -3 and z score -4 also had 5 Fractures of the spine lifting heavy object

I had kyphoplasty on them so what I want to know are my Scores really bad and I appreciate I had fractures so do I need FORTEO or will I be ok without this medication

It’s up to you, but the fact you have broken so many bones would be my main concern. I haven’t personal experience of this medication, but even after breaking both wrists, I wanted some medication.

Mine Dexa shows -2.5 and I had L1 & L2 fractures and precribed Foresto. Talk to a consultant but if I was you I would certainly be taking it or bisphosomates after 5 fractures.

Could I ask you please how long have you been taking this drug

I have been prescribed this drug but just scared of any side effects

I was prescribed it 8 weeks ago and so far so good thank God. I feel it is doingme good and helping my old fractures heal even though they say three months to heal normally but at 65 I expect it could take longer. I can now do floor exercises and touch my toes and lean backwards, roll from side to side and do normal activities. I will get an MRI in a couple of months and see if thinks have improved.
