Can anyone tell me if they are using this drug for osteoporosis if so , have you ever traveled with it in a car

Only I need to make a journey for 3 hours in a car and not sure what to do as I believe it has to be kept in fridge all the time

I can put it in fridge once I get to my destination

Many thanks

I think this has come up before and people say that there is a little thing you can get which keeps medication cold for hours. Sorry I don't know more about it, but if you need an answer before anyone else checks in here you could call your pharmacist.

Put it in an insulated bag with an ice pack. I've flown with it this way many times. The drug company will provide a small bag for this purpose.

Like nanagnanen says get the travel bag and special ice packs from the pharmacy that provides the pens, bins, needles to you. You can also ask for a travel bin for your needles. I've travelled lots of times now and at last are confident about doing it. The ice packs are special and last longer than ordinary ones. I've stayed overnight in cheaper hotels and a guest house and phoned before to check if they will store the pen and refreeze the ice packs everyone has been helpful and it wasn't a problem.

I looked into a little plug in fridge (the sort sold to keep drinks cold) I even bought one BUT it didn't keep it cool enough at 10c .

Happy travels
