I think this has come up before and people say that there is a little thing you can get which keeps medication cold for hours. Sorry I don't know more about it, but if you need an answer before anyone else checks in here you could call your pharmacist.
Like nanagnanen says get the travel bag and special ice packs from the pharmacy that provides the pens, bins, needles to you. You can also ask for a travel bin for your needles. I've travelled lots of times now and at last are confident about doing it. The ice packs are special and last longer than ordinary ones. I've stayed overnight in cheaper hotels and a guest house and phoned before to check if they will store the pen and refreeze the ice packs everyone has been helpful and it wasn't a problem.
I looked into a little plug in fridge (the sort sold to keep drinks cold) I even bought one BUT it didn't keep it cool enough at 10c .
