Having a low day :-( post holiday blues and loss of tummy confidence
Apart from the post holiday blues, this is making me feel so down as I wanted to come home and put my new found confidence into practice and try hard to eat healthy and follow the
Fodmap
diet.

Any recommendations for digestive enzyme brands?
I have IBS-D (with gas) and control my symptoms very successfully with the low
FODMAP
diet. I can also now infrequently eat small quantities of high FODMAPs and would like to to expand on this theme a bit.

Most horrendous bowel contractions :( nobody seems to understand whats going on with me!!
I kept passing water (urine) and very little from the bowel. the day before id had sevral bowel motions over a period of 2 hours which is unusual since Ive been on the
fodmap
diet as had been having one good motion (sorry to be so descriptive) each day and I take flaxseed and drink lots every day so

Are some Fodmap accepted fruits not for everyone
I recently read that Cantaloupe melons were OK for IBS sufferers, though any other sort certainly is no good for me; so I tried Cantaloupe. Sorry to say that within the hour I had to abandon plans and get back to the loo. Just how that can work so quickly is a mystery to me but now I know that we are

Do I really have IBS?
Both came back clear so now told I must have IBS and told to look up the Low
FODMAP
diet and see how I go! I do not have constipation or diarrhoea and never have. I feel a bit lost really. Is this IBS? Any help gratefully received.

Vegetarian trying FODMAP
Hi, I am vegetarian and 4 days ago began following the
FODMAP
diet. I really want to give this a good go and am enjoying the different foods I'm eating so far. My only problem is, that I can't find vegetarian foods that don't have FODMAPS in, to eat.

Colonic irrigation
I tried the low
FODMAP
diet but it just wasn't for me. Someone recommended colonics and in desperation I decided to give it a go. I did a lot of research and went to a therapist who was also a nurse in East Kilbride.

Does anyone else find that the low FODMAP diet is more successful for IBS-D than IBS-C?
Thanks to all the info given by you lovely people on this website and, desperate to try anything to help my IBS-D, I started the low
FODMAP
diet 5 months ago and have found that it solves all my problems. Sheer joy and magic!

As anybody doing the low

Has anyone been diagnosed with SIBO here?
Obviously the
FODMAP
diet is helping me but I'd like to just return to normal life! Thanks, Jim
