Apixaban side effects?
(He also doubled my
Flecainide
which is leading to constipation but I guess that’s a different issue 🤦♀️) Anyway - I have started quite suddenly with very painful joints in my fingers which comes and goes and wonder if it might be the Apixaban or whether it is some type of arthritis or gout.

Unsuccessfull ablation
I have now been given
flecainide
to try and see how that works. I guess I’m reaching out to anyone that may have had similar issues and it then being resolved or other ways people may have found to reduce the intensity of tachycardia.

flutter not fibrillation
He has recommended an ablation to sort it out and told me to stop taking
Flecainide
which makes me nervous. He says it probably isn’t doing much and could make things worse. Anyone else had this advice?

Has the Pulsed Field Ablation technique increased success rate?
Although
Flecainide
50mg bid has kept AF episodes to a much lower frequency, 6 in ‘23, I’d like to hear from a few more of you who have undergone this new procedure. What are the results; is the blanking period shorter; anyone had it done at Royal Bournemouth Hospital?

Ectopics again, Flecainide, Decaff Coffee, lack of sleep or all of the above
I have just taken a
flecainide

Post ablation follow-up
Just wondered when this usually occurs.Had an ablation mid August’23, nothing said about stopping
Flecainide
nor a follow up appointment. Thought (and I don’t know why!) follow up would be after 3 months , maybe it’s 6 months? Wondering what others experiences are.

Sotalol
Sotalol and
Flecainide
. In respect of the Sotalol he prescribed .... " one tablet twice a day". My tablets are 40mg dose. This replaces Bisoprolol and Nebivolol that I have taken at different times in past years gone by. Anyone know if this is a normal dose, anything to be aware of ?

Breakthrough Afib episodes while on Flecainide
I’m having afib breaking through my daily portion of 200 mg of
Flecainide
(Tambocor) lately, after a quiet time (2 months) with no Afib at all. Now almost daily and some days even 3 to 4 incidents.

flecainide question
He has asked me to stop taking
Flecainide
because it’s likely ‘ contributing to my arrhythmia. Is this an example of how one person’s medication is another person’s ‘poison’?

Afib caused by low heart rate? Ectopics when exercising.
I stopped taking the
Flecainide
2 weeks ago. This morning, on waking, my heart rate was 56 and I was in Afib for the first time in 3 weeks. 3 hours later my heart rate is now 77bpm and the Afib has disappeared. Still not taking

A-Fib meds & Zepbound
Flecainide
& Metoprolol control my A-Fib, & I take a prescription blood thinner too. Does anyone here have personal experience with A-Fib and Zepbound? Please, refrain if you have to make a comment about weight, diets, etc.

Hallucinations with medication
I’m on
flecainide
(50mg x 2) and bisoprolol (1.25mg x 1). I’ve read bisoprolol can cause this and I do take it a couple of hours before bed. Has anyone experienced this at all and what did you do to alleviate it (if that’s possible).

flecainide
and 50mg metoprolol) I had already taken my morning
flecainide
of 50mg at 6.30am. Kardia shows I am now in nsr but I am feeing ‘off’ so checked my bp.

Diltiazem
The
Flecainide
was stopped. I'm writing to say that by the time my nighttime dose come up (8:30 am, 4:30 pm, 12:30 am) my pulse can already be in the 50s and bp can be around 110/65. Therefore, I'm reluctant to take that dose.

Slowly Reducing Antiarrhythmic medications
After the first month my EP advised I can start reducing my medication which is
Flecainide
and Dilitiazem and he did not need to see me anymore. I am now taking 50mg Flec. and was initially taking 100mg. By July I should be medication free.
