Flecainide and resistance training?
Is
flecainide
screwing up with anabolic processes, or something else that makes it harder to keep muscles in shape?

DRUGS
I take 50mg
Flecainide
morning and night. 1.25mg Bisoprolol mornings. 4mg Candesartan mornings and 20mg Xeralto at night. Heart rate is usually on the low side of normal even without Bisoprolol.

I then take 100g
flecainide
and am back to NSR within a few hours. But it disrupts daily living.. I don't want to take amidarone or have an ablation. I already tried flacinide for maintenance but there were side effects. What other options do I have

Flutter and Flecainide
He said he could prescribe
flecainide
as PIP. Currently I'm taking diltiazem for rate and apixaban. My question is shouldn't a cardiologist or an electrophysiologist prescribe antiarrhythmics and not a GP?

First AF episode in 18 months
Got it down under 100 with bisoprolol but my
Flecainide
that I take daily anyway hasn’t converted me. I’ve increased it to 150mg last night and done same this morning. First episode in 18 months but have had ectopics instead.

They seem to be ok with
Flecainide
but cannot find anything to do with Apixaban. Found a slight caution with warfarin but not anything to do with the newer anticoagulants. I know I can/should ask a pharmacist but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them, good or bad. Many thanks.

Need a little reassurance
Currently having a PAF episode - HR 125 Reluctantly taken my very 1st
Flecainide
tablet (50mg) 10 mins ago as PIP as per instruction from consultant. If this doesn’t convert to NSR within a couple of hours take another in 12 hours. If this doesn’t resolve then take on a regular basis.

Does Flecainide Work for Persistent Afib
I started taking Ditilizem several days ago, but I am wondering if I should start the
Flecainide
while in persistent afib or even if it will help.

Change from Paroxysmal to Persistent Arrythmia
Had a phone conversation with a consultant who put me on
Flecainide
. This last week I have been in af every day and my meds are not having any effect. Wondering if my af is changing from paroxymal to persistent and do I need to see someone to decide what further action should be taken.

Return of PVCs and Flecainide as pill in pocket.
I was previously taking 100mg
Flecainide
twice a day along with 1.25mg bisoprolol in the mornings for episodes of PACs and occasional PVCs. I was on this medication for almost 2 years before deciding that I would like to try and come off it.

Cardioversion and PVCs and PACs
Flecainide
did not work. I’m considering a cardioversion as I’m to the point I will try anything to get my heart back into NSR but wondering if anyone here has had a cardioversion for arrhythmias other then Afid and if so, did it help?

Stopping an Afib?
Flecainide
has never improved this scenario and my EP has advised me to stop taking it. I've read peoples stories on here on many strange and wonderful ways they restore NSR, from splashing cold water on their face to deep breathing techniques. Someone even mentioned the Valsalva Maneuver.

Did your ectopics die out after your ablation?
One is that since the CAST trial,
Flecainide
has been off the menu for anyone who's had a heart attack. But that trial has been re-evaluated and they are more relaxed about this, provided an echo shows good heart function.

Now in Persistent Atrial Fibrillation
I was diagnosed with PAF about 23 years ago, and have managed it with medication, at present on 300mg of
Flecainide
daily, along with Bisoprolol 2.5mg and Apixaban 10mg, For the last 6 months I've been in AF for weeks and then a couple of day I'm in rhythm. I don't want an ablation.

Flecainide
I was put on
Flecainide
after the ablation with no issues. I had a couple of very short AFib events soon after the procedure but have been relatively healthy since. I came off of the
Flecainide
on Saturday under direction from the doctor.
