cardio version?
I ended up in A&E on Saturday morning, AF kicked in Friday evening, nothing would stop it, not even
flecainide
PIP. Yesterday, (Sunday) given 200mg
flecainide
intravenously, came down a bit, not sure if it’s enough, possible cardio version this morning! So now it’s a waiting game!

Switching from 100mg Flecainide twice daily, to Pill in the Pocket. Has anyone done this?
I am going to follow his advice, but I would like to hear from anyone else who has switched to PIP method, after taking
Flecainide
for an extended period. ( eleven years ).

Ectopics and flecainide
I have posted here recently concerning
flecainide
and received some very helpful information. Since being recommended this drug for my ectopic beats (which I have tried to 'live with') by an EP, my consultant has since suggested I try it as a pill in the pocket.

Can anyone help me?
Recently had my echo and cardiology appt and been put on 50mg
flecainide
twice a day with a further 50mg as a pill in the pocket. This was 11 days ago and I’ve already had 3 episodes of AF. The PIP has reduced the episodes to about 3 hours but I’m just so confused.

Ablation for Atrial Ectopics?
I have trialled medicines (Bisoprolol &
Flecainide
) but nothing seems to impact them for any longer than a few days, I don't have any side effects to the medicines, but the ectopics simply breakthrough the meds after a few days. Appreciate any ideas for other medicines that have worked for others?

Flecainide & eating timing
Hi All I'm taking 100mg
Flecainide
twice a day and 1.25mg Bisoprolol once a day. I have had 6months relatively AF free since starting this dosage 6 months ago, now have daily battles with AF/ low uneven rhythm as the Flec wears off and between meals.

Flecainide and Lixiana
Hi, I've been prescribed flacainide and lixiana for AF, I started taking them on Tuesday and was fine, however yesterday I started to feel queasy and got a headache (after exercise) which I just can't shift. Has anyone else had this? I'm wondering whether to contact my Dr. It might just be coincidental

Have any Vagal Afibbers tried exercising before bed?
I had read that some people exercise during Afib, so rather than pop another
Flecainide
pill I decided to jog on the spot on the bathroom mat for 5 minutes. Afib resolved which is good to know as I can add it to my repertoire of techniques.

Frightful Dreams and Meds
I’m assuming it’s just a side effect of one or more or combination of the drugs I’m on including arrhythmia , BP, cholesterol and blood thinners As I’m taking Atorvaststin at night and
flecainide
for my AF before I go to bed - I’m wondering if this anxiety is being caused by side effects ?

AF taking a different direction??
Had an AF attack yesterday and it was terminated after 3 hours with my PIP 200 mg
Flecainide
and half a metoprolol tablet. This is about average and I have attacks every 7 to 10 days. After a few hours rest I went for a walk but didn’t feel great, lethargic and generally off par.

I am so very confused...please help
In the past, mid april this year after admittance to hospital for 3days, via a+e the consulting cardiologist did advise my cardiologist in discharge letter to prescribe
Flecainide
. As of yet this has not happened because I am still waiting to see my cardiologist in clinic.
