I had an ablation done a little under 6 weeks ago, was told i had multiple extra pathways and they ablated them. I am no taking metoprolol once daily and flecainide twice a day. I noticed i am going to the bathroom more often to urinate and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

I believe even though maybe not common it can be for some a side effect of the med
It could settle down as you get used to it but if it becomes hard to deal with then talk with your Doctors there could be an alternative you could take instead x
it works to get rid of excess water in the system to make your heart work more efficiently, or thats what my consultant told me.

I have always urinated frequently especially at night. That said I really did not notice a difference when I started taking Metropolol. In my case, the frequency is because I consume a lot of liquids.
