Fluid in tubes
Hiya, Yesterday I had my first scan since starting stimms last week and the doctor found what looked like fluid in one of the tubes. She explained it could make implantation fail or cause an early miscarriage if it's there at the time of the embryo transfer, and that I might need an operation to sort

Did anyone conceive naturally while going through IVF?
Did any of you conceive naturally while going through IVF? or did you conceive one egg naturally and got twins because of the one successful embryo transfer in addition to the natural one? What is the likelihood of this?

First embryo transfer done against the odds !
We were a foot deep in snow this morning and not sure if the
FET
would go ahead after so much waiting, but it did. Skeleton staffing at the clinic but so grateful they were able to get in. Thank you to those of you who supported me and suggested a hotel stay - very glad we did.

Had to wait for two bleeds before starting
FET
. Transfer day was yesterday the 29th of March. I had two 5d embryos transferred. Because I'm over 40 the doctor suggested two. I have had backpain since day 10 of estrofem but it seems to have stopped since yesterday.

Pains after failed IVF transfer?
Hi everyone, I recently had a negative test after a fresh embryo transfer and subsequently stopped the progesterone support. Since then, I've been having a lot of abdominal pain, especially when windy or need the loo. At times its been so bad I can't stand, the cramping has been horrendous, but it

Did anyone get pregnant with the last embryo?
We are going to have our last embryo transfer next week. We hear that the first embryo is always the best and the least quality is the last. I am wondering if anyone got pregnant with the last embryo.

3 day frozen embryo vs 5 day
So far we had 5 day frozen embryos without success and the new clinic that we want to start treatment is making 3 day embryo transfers claiming that it achieves more success. What is your experience?

Prednisolone/ corticosteroid prior to IVF & embryo transfer
Hi everyone, Happy 2024.I'd like to know if anyone was advised by the clinic to take Prednisolone 5mg (corticosteroid) every day for 3 months prior to a potential embryo transfer. This was recommended by my gynaecologist in Greece ( even if we did not reach any embryo development or transfer as our

NHS and Endometriosis both caused me lots of pain and complications
I’ve had many horrible symptoms for years including blood in my stool and infertility but my GPs and NHS Gynaecologists couldn’t find out that I’ve had Endometriosis. I was even told I may have bowel cancer as there was blood in my stool, so, my GP asked me to do a colonoscopy but Colonoscopy results

Confused about conflicting information
We've had a test at the Coventry Warwick Implantation Clinic and Prof Brosens was very strong in his opinions against multiple embryo transfers as he said a 'faulty' embryo could affect a healthy one implanting. However, the private clinic we're at is well known for transferring multiple - up to 3 -

It's twins, but...
I went for my scan yesterday at 7 weeks 4 days after a single
FET
in early August (5 day 3bc embryo). While the consultant was scanning, I could tell by her face there was a bombshell coming. She saw two embryos, which was a huge surprise and I was not expecting that at all.

has anyone been to a scan during
fet
and been told to carry on with Progynova as the lining wasn’t thick enough? it wouldn’t bother me if it was any other month but I’m desperate to have it on my birthday, just think it’s a nice birthday present off my loved ones in heaven!

Thin lining medicated FET
I’m a little worried as this is the first medicated
FET
with 6mg estrogen daily (Elleste Solo 2mg, an HRT drug). Previously I had 2 natural cycle
FET
and my lining was much thicker 9mm.

I am a solo lady, who froze eggs and am now using donor sperm to try and have a baby.
