Three Arrows iron repair price hike! Possible alternatives?
Hello to those afflicted by low ferritin. I was about to re-order Three Arrows iron repair simply heme from the States and, to my horror, the price for 3 bottles has increased from $66 in April to $85 today!! Both prior to P&P. Can anyone suggest a suitable alternative? Thanks 🙏

Iron infusion flopped
Iron infusion flopped After my second iron infusion my serum ferritin catapulted from 55 to 588! Unfortunately, it did not stop the “bleed through”. Horizant, which is supposed to last 24 hours only controls my RLS for about 16 to 18 hours and then I get symptom bleed through. I was hoping that at

RLS & Pramipexole
I'm an 81 year old active woman. I have suffered with RLS for over 10 years. Prescribed .088mg Pramipexole by my GP n just told to increase when I complain! I went to 5 at night but am weaning off myself with the help of 50mg Tramadol around 6pm. Down to alternating 2 or 3 at night slowly. Had bloods

RE iron tablet recommendations
Hi again I have to get my iron levels up.. I have one perscription from my GP for 305 mg Caps Ferrous fumurate (but when I go to the pharmacies here they only have Galfer which has sooo many horrible ingredients, some of which have been banned in Australia, some euro countries)... And my private Endo

Low TSH
Hi - I've got my 3rd lot of results from Medichecks since March which I will take to appointment with private Endo. Test taken fasting with no meds beforehand and at 8:55am I'm pleased with levels of folate, B12 and Vit D which I've worked on. Ferritin has gone down though. The T3 is low of course

Hi all, I got some private tests done (attached) and I have to say I’m surprised as they seem to point to me being hyperthyroid but have all the symptoms of hypo. Can someone explain to me please? Other tests done recently were: B12 - 240 - I have pernicious anaemia and am getting B12 injections off

Medichecks Ferritin same sample, two different results
For both of us, the
Ferritin
results are different from one
test
to another. eg for my daughter it's: IP
Ferritin
58.2 AT Ferritin 66.4 Same blood! I'm going to ask Medichecks about this, unless someone else has experienced this and already cleared it up.

Total confusion about Ferritin (Medichecks) results!
I recently had a lightbulb moment on realising that the Medichecks
Ferritin
range has changed! I had an NHS
test
a couple of weeks ago and my
ferritin
was 56 ug/l (15 - 200 ug/l) and realised this was rather low for Hashimotos.

Blood results
Hi all, Following on from the very useful help and advice I received on my previous posts, I have some blood results back and am hoping for some advice this time. My B12 came back in the normal range but low and my ferritin came back only just scraping into the normal range (results attached).

To Infuse or not to Infuse
I figured it was time to put the 45 infusion stories I could find all together so people can make an informed decision. Simply tap on the link and within a few lines you will know whether the person gave it a thumbs up or down. If you read the replies you may find more stories. I welcome anyone who

Consultation with Prof Walker
So I had a private consultation with Prof Walker last month. I used to take 0.25g ropinorol some time back and went up to 0.5g and felt that I was augmenting so came off it. Managed for some time without medication but over lockdown/menopause the RLS became much worse so I went onto Gapapentin. Although

Iron Bisglycinate
I am in the US and looked at a number of 25 mg of iron bisglycinate products (gentle iron) on Amazon. All listed there percent of daily value (US) at 139%. Most did not list their elemental iron but two did and they listed it as 25 mg. So my apologies! My previous post which I deleted was wrong.

racing pulse
hi thyroid community. Quick question…I’ve noticed since I’ve been taking Erfa that my pulse races quite often sometimes over 100. Especially when I’m climbing up hill or going up stairs for example. I’ve realised I’ve had this for quite a while (years) and had put it down to being breathless due to
