Ferritin test

Ferritin test results serum ferritin level 7 ug/L (12.0 - 233.0) what does it mean?

Per recommendations of Sue, Jools and others I contacted my Dr to request a Ferritin test. Haven’t heard back yet but I found labs that were done in 2019. My ferritin level was 34 at that time.

Should I push for a Trans ferritin saturation test? What value would it add? Thanks in advance

Our Doctor recently did a B12 and Ferritin blood test and is now demanding that we stop self injecting with immediate effect to prevent B12 toxicity….. Has anyone ever heard of this and if not, how do we deal with this?

Recently had an iron panel and ferritin blood test with following results.

My ferritin test result is 24 (10-300) Nice guidelines say under 30 can have iron infusion? Should I push for that? I picked up my T3 prescription and was planning on splitting them but they are 10mcg capsules.Roma is the brand.

Hello everyone I have just had a ferritin blood test and been a bit blown away by the result. It was a staggering 155 with a range of 13-150. I haven’t achieved such giddy heights since childhood. It means that the ferrous fumarate is working.

hello, this is my ferritin level from my medichecks test. Is this ok?

She asked me to get a Ferritin test done, which I did last week. My levels came back at 120. I'm really at my wits end, so any feedback/ thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

medichecks test done last July showed ferritin at 25.9 (30-300) TSH 0.796 (027-4.2) T3. 3.9 (3.1-6.8) Ft 21.1 (12- 22) Starting taking ferrous fumarate Then test September nhs ferritin 33 (10-300.)

(Blood test 4 days ago: ferritin 6, Iron 3.8) Im considering doubling the dose.

My ferritin test from about a month ago was 200ug/l & had previously been about 250ug/l. I did start regular b12 jabs around the time of the 250 test,so that might account for the ferritin drop (making new red blood cells etc..)

As I mentioned before I have a monthly blood test. This time I asked for details regarding my ferritin levels. At my previous test it was 144. I believe that's a good reading. Thanks

ferritin I’ve requested GP to run full iron test in 2 weeks time as part of my bloods for thyroid med review! Been on 25mg of Levo for 2.5 months and thyroid levels being reviewed . Currently classed as subclinical autoimmune thyroid. see profile for info.

They tested more back in July than this time, I'm not sure why so slightly more limited results below: TSH - 0.31 mu/L (0.30-4.20) Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies - didn't test Ferritin- didn't test Follate - 6.1 ug/L (3.0-20.0) Vitamin B12 - 455 ng/L (180-640) Vitamin D - 47.6 nmol/L (>50.00)

just had blood tests done because I have pain in my right pelvic area. Come back with high ferritin. Mines 200 and should be below 150. I googled it and don’t really understand it. Can’t get an appointment with GP for 3 weeks so has anyone on here ever had this result. I’m a bit anxious about it.

These are my test results...I have been taking Ferritin since May 22nd 305 dose My T3 has increased can I have some advice on What to do next

I had a test in April which produced the following results: Ferritin 214 ug/L; range 30 - 518 Vit b12 active >150 pmol/L; range Vit D 160 nmol/L; range 50-250 I imagine that I don't need to take Iron tablets, Vit B12 or Vit D. But am I okay to take Vit B Complex?
