Feminax

I was given birth control and regularly take a series of medications to help me somewhat function during my day to day; these include tramadol, panadol, feminax, mefanamic acid, tranxamic acid, diclofenac, colpermin, buscopan, iron, cocodamol, etc.

But all times I experience severe pain in my anus, back and lower pelvis and I go through boxes and boxes of ibuprofen, feminax and paracetamol only to find that they wear off within moments.

But now im getting theses period cramps that come on daily and very nasty also extreme pains mostly which ive been taking feminax ultra daily to help it including warm boiled water but its getting to that point now where its like a trigger effect sometimes i get the cramps then other day i get really

I have taken paracetamol but it doesn’t even touch the sides - Does anyone know if am I ok to take feminax with naproxen today?! Just wanted to check before I take anything stronger!

I got put on the mini pill 4 months ago and I feel like everything had got worse ESPECIALLY the back and hip pain, I’ve tried hot baths, hot water bottle, paracetamol, ibuprofen, feminax, mefenamic acid, naproxen... nothing touches it.

Feminax Ultra was always a wonder drug for me but in the last 6 months or so it hasn't been so helpful and now it doesn't seem to have any effect. Rotating ibuprofen and paracetamol sometimes takes the edge off and codeine has no effect on me at all.

I am 25 and have always had quite heavy strong periods however after I had my son three years ago via emergency c section they got alot worse I am bloated doubling over in pain and having to take sick days from work, my mum tells me to take ibuprofen and feminax and it doesn't touch it at all!

I've tried panamol, panadol, feminax , mefenamic acid (which I was only prescribed a few months ago).

I have tried Tramadol, naproxen, feminax, codeiene and am out of options! Nothing seems to help. I have been off work today and need to get back asap but with this pain I'm struggling to get out of bed :( . Sorry for the long winded message! Thank you :) xx

Am taking paracetamol and feminax together advice from my pharmacy. He also said if that does not help I need to do to gp to get prescribed stronger ones. Don't really want to do that. But may have to. I am not sleeping well at all either. I hate the though Mr of speaking to a counselling service.

I've been on a period for around 3 weeks now and every time it gets heavy the pain can get unbearable and I've tried naproxen, co-codamol, ibuprofen and feminax and nothing seems to be helping. Has anybody else experienced this, if so what seemed to help calm the pain down?

Taken the usual feminax, parecetamol etc nothing works. Then thought about taking my tennis elbow anti inflamitory tablets which seem to work for 3 hours. Last night had heated blanket in bed on max to get some heat relief.

I have just taken some feminax extra which I usually use. Pharmacist said it shouldn't react with my meds which are gabapentin and sertraline. X

Before I used to wait until I "needed" a painkiller and then take feminax but now I have learned a few things 1) Naproxen own brand is cheaper 2) you have to take it as soon as you feel any pain for it to be the most effective OK so far so good...
