Pain relief for period?!

I have called the nurses at our clinic but waiting for a phone call back so thought I would try here - we are due to start ICSI this month with short protocol. I have come on my period today after taking norethisterone for 6 days, and have my baseline scan booked for tomorrow. I am in agony with my period today, cramps, diarreah - the usual monthly fun! I have taken paracetamol but it doesn’t even touch the sides - Does anyone know if am I ok to take feminax with naproxen today?! Just wanted to check before I take anything stronger!

I got told not to take anti inflammatory tablets. Codeine might be an option and a good old hot water bottle, bath etc. Hope you're feeling better soon!xxx

Thankyou for your reply! Ok, I won’t take anything else, and see if I can get hold of some codeine. I don’t have a bath 😔 But I think a sofa day with a hot water bottle it is! Here’s hoping the pain will all be worth it! Xx
