Being young and relatively healthy I'm confident (as is my doctor) that an abbreviated course of
FCR
will work quite well. I am 13q non mutated and my only symptoms have been fatigue and some swollen lymph nodes.

Chest infections
Following six rounds of
fcr
ending in february this year i have been plagued with one chest infection after another and a constant bad cough. I now have tinnitus. Has anyone else had anything similar and is this a normal symptom on cll. I would appreciate your comments.

Continuing FCR
I know everyone is different - that seems to be the key phrase in being treated for CLL ☺️ - but can anyone say what their experiences of 2nd, 3rd rounds etc. of
FCR
were like, compared to their first, please?

Checkpoint Inhibitors - the Programmed Death 1 and Ligand (PD-1/PD-L1) checkpoints and their promise for CLL/SLL
That momentum doesn't look as if it will stop any time soon, which is a huge improvement on the situation of just a few years ago, when
FCR
was the only improved treatment to come out of a veritable desert of years with nothing much happening.

The Future Role of FCR and new data on venetoclax and rituximab
In the second half of the interview, he makes a cogent argument for the ongoing use of
FCR
frontline in select patients. While many of us are not fans of chemo-immunotherapy (CIT), Professor Hallek has strong data to support his perspective. Listen with an open mind.

How Monoclonal Antibodies produce lasting antitumour effects
Could this be the mechanism by which some

Itching-help!
I've never done this before, so I hope I get it right 😀My husband is having
FCR
- first round this month, nearly ready for 2nd round. He had nausea and vomiting for a few days and has had severe conjunctivitis. The worst thing is he is covered in really itchy spots- hives/urticaria.

Starting FCR in 10 days
Hi Everyone I begin
FCR
on Tuesday 19th May. I've had lots of helpful advice from the hospital, such as the need to drink 2-3 litres of water a day prior to and during the treatment, but just wanted to know if anyone has any additional advice on preparing for
FCR
both physically and emotionally.
