Granulomatous Hepatitis
My biopsy showed I have have granulomatous hepatitis with stage 3-4 fibrosis and moderate
fatty
liver
. They don't know what the granulomas are from. Trying to figure out if losing weight will even help me as I don't know if the granulomas are causing the fibrosis.

Some good news
I was told on the fifth of December that my ultrasound scan had picked up three small suspicious lesions, and that what they saw was suggestive of cirrhosis, portal vein hypertension and varices. I immediately quit alcohol, eating cannabis and otc sleeping remedies. I radically changed my diet and began

Cirrhosis but no change in bloodwork
Diagnosed with
fatty
liver
10 years ago. Recently had a CT done for kidney stones and it showed Nodular liver. I was shocked. The weird part is my blood tests over the last 10 years always came back normal or just slightly elevated AST/ALT so doctors never thought there was a problem.

Happy New Year to all! I saw my primary care doc yesterday for my annual exam, after seeing my Hepatologist in August. Both said all of my bloodwork is normal, albeit slightly low platelets. 130’s-140’s. I asked my primary care about 1) possible worsening, 2) measurement of fibrosis (fibroscan)

cirrhosis or not??
I was asked to take part in a
Fatty
Liver
clinical research study and had to go through a number of pre tests to establish I was suitable for the study. After many blood tests/fibro scans etc I had a Liver Biopsy.

Odd things that you learn...
So I had my pre-op checks a couple of weeks back, today was due to sign consent forms, chat with pharmacy etc but it got postponed. Pharmacy then phones a bit later to discuss when to stop my cocktail, so we have a mix of 1, 2 & 3 days before except for 1 one, my over the counter Omega 3 fish oil. I

How quickly can cirrhosis worsen.
Hi allI was diagnosed 2 years ago with compensated cirrhosis, portal hypertension, no ascites and 3 small varices that didn't need treatment. Everything was jogging along without change, no worse, no better. But, here it comes, I've had a bad time just lately, my husbands dementia is worsening and I'm

I keep reading about zinc, omega 3 and magnesium. Does anyone have recommendations on gummy vitamins they use for ADHD that are helping? My daughter is 7. Thanks!

He and liver disease
I am so scared about damage to my liver , I’m worried I have Hepatic encephalopathy. I stupidly took to many over the counter tablets over a course of a month ( paracetamol) , I ended up in ANE but blood work come back ok and wasn’t ever treated however I’m worried I left it to long to go to the hospital

Extreme fatigue. Any solution?
This is wiping me out. Honestly. It tends to start at about 5 pm and lasts for about 2/3 hours. I used to take Whey protein to counter it but this appears to not hit the spot. I’m utterly exhausted when this phenomenon strikes and am wondering if anyone has any ideas? I take B1 daily (Superior Source

Cirrhosis
My friend was diagnosed two years ago and has been relatively healthy since. Losing a lot of weight, eating healthy and rarely drinking. He has been feeling sick lately and feeling bloated.
