Total cholesterol and Triglyceride both at 3 mmol/mL

I was on station 5 mg Rosuvastatin. The numbers did not come down therefore was increased to 10mg.

My last blood test total cholesterol 3 mmol/L.

Triglyceride is also 3 mmol/L

LDL and HDL is not within limit.

Hba1c 62 !!!

At 77 i want to eat and drink what I want?

hba1c bit of a shock .being told diabetic anythung above 48 in uk is. ive stopped my statins . read dint help much..in 75 and have other health probs my hba1c is 44.. i have put on a stone now 11 from eating too much chocolate snd biscuits. trying to cut out choc is hard as once start cant stop..plus i hate fruit and too many issues going on , if i'm gonna die i will go with some chocolate in me. seriously check out or join diabetis uk..you can go chat then on their forum . ive got to start cutting back i must.

if you are diabetic and keep drinking and don't get help .problems..my friend 62 was type 1 still drank and didnt control his eating and developed cirrhosis that turned to liver cancer. i dont know you what you eat etc but just saying.

As a South Asian I look at HbA1c in South India, 62 is acceptable. HbA1c started high then my life style change brought it down to below 48, 12 years ago, now it keeps going up.

Up until now only worried about Blood numbers. In January there was a problem, i went yo Urology, tests showed bladder cancer, biopsy came all clear. The problem was biopsy was under general therefore operation had a question mark, but my number 64 was below the cut off number. Only time will tell.

Six weeks ago I had a fall on the first floor landing, investigation on going.

I am looking at enjoying life with my life style which I started 12 years ago.

62 hba1c acceptable in India .perhaps more people should get tested there. good for you ..live and enjoy .you say hba1c below 48..? i mind my own business in future.
