Restless Legs and treatment with only morfin ?
I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience here - now I am here again. After many years of treatment with pramipexole, had augmentation and is now using morphine to taper off and then have to start on pregabalin. Is 82 years old. I have previously tried both pregabalin and gabapentin - but perhaps

Second Ablation Recovery
Hi Everyone! Am posting an update as promised! Second ablation to treat Atrial Tachycardia due to first one to address AFib… I was with the Nuffield as a St Barts NHS patient and live in Somerset. A few differences to note about this second one as a help to others and a question too, that perhaps

Is this a flare ?
Hi all. I don't post on here often but I read lots of other posts so know you all know so much more about this than me. I have had PMR for about 4 years and apart from a couple of minor flares have managed to reduce to 3 mg pred which is the lowest I seem to be able to get to. About 2 months ago my

New here 😕
Hello - I'm new here and reaching out in the hope of managing 'early' symptoms that are beginning to make me feel quite low. Reading the entries I have so much empathy and am in awe of the courage and tenacity of those suffering over such long periods. I went to the GP in November with a distinct pain

Joint pain
I started on an aromatese inhibitor about a year ago. At first I had some pain and weakness in my right wrist. This eventually went away. I am now having pain in my shoulders but mostly in my knees. I have been pretty active. Now the pain is so tiring and depressing. I got a massage yesterday and

Pain After Exercise
This is my first time posting and I’m new to all this so apologies if I’ve done something wrong! I’ve recently had a diagnosis of endometriosis after years of bad periods. The specialist during my laparoscopy burnt away the endometriosis patches (I now know this is not the most ideal way of treating

Covid 19 Vaccine side effects
I had my vaccine on Saturday morning during the night I woke with pain all over and breathing difficulties . Has anyone else had such things happen? As I had a problem with Fridays test at hospital I can't be sure if its that . Seems to have lessened with painkillers and inhaler . Just don't normally

Alverine and/or Simalvia - (which is alverine citrate with simethicone.) Side effects.
I have recently been put on these. I have found that both the standard alverine citrate, which I had tried first, now the Simalvia, cause feelings of extreme anxiety about an hour after taking the tablet! Weird and not listed in the side effects. So far it seems ineffective on the pain anyway. Would

Help with test results
So I decided to check my blood before starting a trail of 50mcg of Levothyroxine. I tested at 6.20 am compared to my usual later time of 10am. I’m confused because the morning before I ended up in A&E from taking too many pain killers and they tested my blood around the same time. My results are greatly

cardiac ablation good experience
hi everyone, I have just had my cardiac catheter ablation for my ventricular ectopic beats ( I have a very high ectopic load) It has gone well and I was really well looked after by the team . In case anyone is waiting for their ablation thought it might be helpful to share my experience. In my case
