Understanding Counting calories and amount each day.
Hello I only joined last week and wondered if anyone can help me , I worked out my BMI on the nhs site and thought as I have so much to lose(18.2 and 5ft 7inchs last week) I would use their calorie intake as my daily amount rather than the 1400 recommended. The thing is the amount they give is so broad

Week 1 Results
I've have just got off the scales from weighing myself after one week on the NHS weight loss plan and I have lost 3.5lbs. I know some of that will be water but I'm very pleased to be off to a good start and I'm looking forward to next week. Good luck everyone hggirl

I went well over my breakfast allowance today with sardines, mashed with plenty of vinegar and grilled on two buttered slices of toast. Yummy. The sardines were in sunflower oil. There is something I have been wondering about Armour Thyroid. The maker of Nature Throid and WP Thyroid stresses that their products are free from corn and gluten. I wonder if corn and gluten are necessarily a problem if you are not allergic to any of them? Or is there any other reason to avoid medication

Hi everyone, Last Monday I weighed 13 stone 6.2 pounds, and today I weigh 13 stone 5.2 pounds, so I've lost 1 pound this week. I'm pleased to see a loss on the scales and I kept up my exercise, and also made sensible food choices. I hope to do the same this week, so that I can lose at least a pound

Weight loss and pain.
I missed 2nd week weighting yesterday I was in hospital having a 2nd facet joint injection and epidural in my back so have to wait and see if it works. The last one worked for a week. Fingers cross. I Am away next week so will try to stay on a healthy diet. So I will see you all at the end of the month

Binge eater !!
Ok so I've lost 10kgs yay ! But still have another 18lgs to go and I can't stop binge eating I keep going over my calories by lunch and then skipping dinner or having a small amount! My exercise is amazing I actually can't believe what I have achieved weighing in at 97kgs I am able to achieve 10k runs

( Using a slow cooker) 350g sliced lamb neck fillet ( about 24 nice sized slices) 500g carrots, scrubbed, trimmed and quartered

I'm up a lot in the night & one of the first things i think of is food - i've said this before - but taking this subject a little further - i have noticed over watching for quite a long period that if i then take zopiclone and/or clonazepam - i must get straight back to bed, not wait for it to take effect
