Is anyone taking Simponi? If so how did you get on? Did you have any side effects? Is it or did it work for you.
I was on Enbrel, but the injection site reactions where getting too big and annoying! Any information on simponi and what other drugs you are taking will be greatly received. Thank you

Has anyone on an anti-tnf been able to reduce frequency of dose?or if on MTX as well, how much (if so) have you managed to lower your dose?
I'm on enbrel and 15mg methetrexate but now reduced to 7.5 mgs, my Consultant tells me that if that goes well then it would be considered reducing the frequency of enbrel, I'm delighted about this but haven't heard of anyone else having this done. Thanks :)

constant queasiness? mtx and enbrel?
Hello again, I stopped my meds 5 weeks ago for a few weeks due to infection and re-started 2 weeks ago, since then I've had this queasiness, almost like morning sickness, I even did a pregnancy test just to make sure I wasn't! I only had this previously in mtx day, we did all have a sickness bug

Here again - still atroshing.
Atroshing is a phrase used in Norfolk to mean keeping going. Seemed appropriate! Well the hand is settling down although the thumb joints are still very painful but the swelling and pain have largely gone. The tendons in the palm were standing up as well so had to keep bending fingers back to relieve

Enbrel needles
I have been on Enbrel plus methatrexate for 3 years and it has transformed my life and I am so grateful that I am on it. But has anyone over the last few months had any problem with blunt needles?

Hi everyone, I haven't been on much for a while, I blogged a while ago as it was my 2 year ra anniversary and I'd been having a pretty tough few months. I started back on enbrel in january and initially it seemed to be working but very slowly then I got a minor infection that wouldn't go away

RA Success
Went to see my wonderful RA Consultant last week. I take Enbrel and it has made such a difference to my life. I have been taking in for about 7 years and have had few side effects. My recent bloods showed ESR only 8 and CRP 1, my DAS28 score is 1.71 which relects the excellent ongoing response to

just to let you know
Hi, I've just read Sci Queens blog and its spurred me on to tell you what has happened last week. I saw the physio and as you remember maybe he gave me a list of things not quite right and need treatment. I then saw the Rheumy consultant and she was lovely. She examined me and said i also have inflammation

Shoulder Replacement Operation Success,
Had a "simpliciti" shoulder replacement on Thursday 23rd February. Was in private hospsital (BUPA paid) for a couple of nights and then home until consultants follow up and physio starts. Although I see my Rehumy Consultant on the NHS as I take Enbrel and it is very expensive, she called into see

I am about to start Orencia, anyone with experience of it? I would welcome your comments good or bad.
I am on mtx, about to beg. inj. also plaquenil, plus bits and bobs, I had a limited success with enbrel and rtx. and funding is just being applied for me to have orencia. It involves me travelling, an hour each way for infusions, but if it works well it will be worth it.

Enbrel and breastfeeding - experiences please :-)
Hi there, my first post here! I'm 37yrs old, have had RA since I was 24yrs. Came off of my Enbrel when concieving my first son and when pregnant, and went back on it when he was 2months old as I had a post-partum flare and he was difficult to breastfeed anyway and went onto bottles so I could go back

Steroidal injection! I'm terrified!
I don't consider myself that much of a softie, as I do my enbrel every week & have my bloods every month. However, my consultant said that he was concerned about my right hand and suggested the injection: I muttered something about managing ok with it and, "if it's not broken, don't fix it". The time

My Living Rheum :)
How do I write a 23 year history in a blogl! Hmm ... that is a difficult one! Each event with RA could be turned into a novel. So where to start ... grab a cuppa and a chocolate biccie and here goes! My first child has arrived, I am happily married, and I have a successful career working as a manager
