Got switched from NDT to synthetic
Then
Euthyrox
. Then NDT from 2017 and started to do better. Was diagnosed with a conversion problem back then, hence the need for NDT. I only agreed to switch now since I am running out of NDT due to global shortages. I am extremely apprehensive. Today is my first day back in synthetics.

Fillers, excipients and different brands?
Hello to all, Does anybody know if
Euthyrox
by Merck is the new formula (which created a scandal in France) or if they are still selling both? Any good experiences with Merck Levo? Any new brands out without manitol or other fillers? I've tried Tirosint and had no improvement.

Levothyroxine and/or Uethyrox truly Gluten Free?
Is
Euthyrox
really free of gluten? (“Gluten free” doesn’t guarantee completely gluten free. It means at least very little gluten.) Myl in EU or USA Mylar makes LEVOTHYROXINE that is GF. Many people using name brand get sick. Don’t take “Synthroid” brand if you have Celiac disease!

Worrying article about the reformulation of Nature-Throid and WP
It´s really worrying that almost every brand of prescription NDT has been reformulated and now works less well (or not at all), two of the Thai brands have been discontinued, Thyroid-S is on backorder everywhere and nobody knows when it will be back,
Euthyrox
which is available in most if not all countries

Some notes on Mannitol
There has been much discussion about Teva levothyroxine in the UK and Levothyrox (formerly
Euthyrox
) in France and other countries - where it appears that the mannitol ingredient could be the cause of issues. I found a few papers about mannitol and thought that they could be of some interest.

Who is up for solving this thyroid/perimenopausal puzzle?! I desperately need some help! 🙏🏻
Then we tried for 3 weeks
Euthyrox
T4 and initially i started on on 88 mcg pill. On the 5th day I felt weird with a bad reaction- headache, and brain fog. I lowered my medication to every other day and took 44 mcg for the next 2 weeks.

Thyroid Medication Change
Is anyone else here taking
Euthyrox
? I wonder if there are additives in this med that may be interacting with Ibrance/Letrozole? These symptoms are troubling and my GP is simply not there for me.

Negative Interaction effects of T4 with T3 yet I do need both
So now I am trying to balance new meds-
Euthyrox
T4and Cytomel T3. My blood test now shows that I have a normal T4- 14 a very low TSH of less than .01 and a low T3 at 1.2. It is clear that my body doesn’t make enough T3 or maybe not at all.

Old Euthyrox formula
Hi everyone, My elderly mother can't tolerate the new
Euthyrox
formula. I know that Merck has kept on distributing the old formula, although it's not advertised by pharmacies (you have to ask the pharmacy to order it).

Anyone on Eltroxin or L-Thyroxine by Takeda?
I specifically asked her to use the generic name as I don't want
Euthyrox
that I've been on in the past since it has been reformulated to include mannitol.

Levothyroxine Sodium vs Levothyroxine
Is Eltroxin and
Euthyrox
just another brand name for Levothyroxine Sodium? He was put on a higher dose of Levothyroxine and had 75mcg left over, so I've been taking that and it works well. I just want to make sure I'll be taking the same thing. Many thanks for your help!
