Reformulation of thyroxine tablets is not as easy as it looks
The makers of
Euthyrox
T4 tablets decided to reformulate and put outa paper justifying this as being accurate as regards bioequivalence, The article is as below. I know well that many posters on TUK complain about practical non-equivalence of reformulated tablets.

Question to those of you on Euthyrox
If the new
Euthyrox
turns out to be as problematic as Teva, I'll have to switch to another brand.

URGENT - Northstar Levothyroxine
However, we are unable to comment specifically on the
Euthyrox
product as this is not a UK licensed product. It is currently standard practice in the UK to prescribe levothyroxine on a generic basis.

Has anyone used Euthyrox?
Hi everyone, I ordered some Uni Pharma Levothyroxine off an online supplier I’ve used multiple times and had no problems with however I’ve just received my order and I’ve been sent
Euthyrox
not Uni Pharma! I’m unsure what country they are meant for and what the ingredients are.

New Reults in. Am I over medicated?
I can see you are taking this test to review your hashimoto's thyroiditis for which you are taking
euthyrox
as you are still experiencing symptoms which includes difficulty losing weight, cold hands and poor memory.

Meaning of Thyroid test results
I've been diagnosed with Hashi for a year, and taking
Euthyrox
100mcg for the last 3 months. I'm bit concerned with my hormonal levels since it seems to me that my pituitary-thyroid feedback isn't working properly.

Is this doctor worth keeping...?
She now wants me back on
Euthyrox
and, if my TSH fails to normalise in eight weeks, she wants me off it to see if I really need it. My question is: should I fire this doctor?

Doctors interfering with thyroid treatment
She suggested, out of the blue, to prescribe 50 mcg of
Euthyrox
"and see how I feel on it". I did not bother telling her that, during the ten years I was on T4 only, I needed 200 mcg daily just to get my FT4 levels anywhere near top range.

Thyroid medication possible side effects
Euthyrox
was prescribed. I have never had elevated blood pressure before. Now my blood pressure is rather high and I have been experiencing intermittent chest pains. Some research I performed pinpointed the thyroid medication as the culprit.

Switch from one brand of T4 to another
So right now I have the "old" version of
Euthyrox
and would not like to switch to the new one. If I switched to Levaxin instead, would that be a problem, since it seems to contain the exact same fillers as "old"
Euthyrox
?

Feeling worse on Levothyroxine/Euthyrox
Hello, I took
Euthyrox
a few years ago (25mcg/day) but didn't felt any difference, so I stopped taking it. My thyroid lab results never looked any good, that's why I decided to start taking
Euthyrox
again. My doc told me to take 25mcg/day and maybe (!) increase after a while.
